Reposting about TransPortal - Please reply

I'm reposting this in hopes that someone will see this and give me updated info on TransPortal. I have tested with them and should hear back from them this week.  I've read everything in the archives, but I was hoping for some updated info about their platform.  My other post got buried under the MDI and T posts.  (Not knocking their posts, by the way, as I feel sorry for what they are dealing with...)

I have a phone interview coming up with TransPortal, and I was wondering if any TransPortal MTs out there could comment on the Scribe platform.  Has it gotten any better to deal with? I have read some past posts both here **** about it being a pain in the neck.  All other info on the company seems to be great aside from the platform.  I'm hoping to hear that they have the bugs worked out by now...  (especially assuming I have Vista!)

Any info, pros, or cons will be appreciated!

Darn it.  They want to give me an account.  What is bad about them may I ask??

This company is located in North Carolina and I did check archives but could find nothing regarding them.  Are they a new company?  Anyone with info please fill me in on pros and cons, please.  Thank you.

Did anyone apply and hear back from TransPortal?  I was contacted for an interview and never heard back.  I was just wondering if anyone else may have had luck with them.

Got an email that they liked my resume, would call the next on the phone.  Never got the phone call.  I called the following day and left a message for the recruiter that I was still interested in talking to her.  She called back the next day and told me they had nothing available but would keep my resume on file. 

Another total waste of my time. 

Are you referring to Transportal?  I work for them.  They ROCK. :)

I have just been offered a position with Transportal but I do not know anything about them.  I am not finding much on this board about them either.  If anyone can tell me about them I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for responding.  How long have you been with them?  Do they pay by check, direct deposit, or do you have to get a prepaid VISA card?

I did look up prior posts on these companies but did not find the answer to this question.  Do any of these companies hire IC?  Do these companies base full time on line count or hours if they have employee status?

Thanks for your help.  I am trying to narrow down my search.  I appreciate it.

If anyone has any info before I interview tomorrow, please let me know.  My biggest concer is the platform.  I can type 1200 lpd with no problems, but every platform I've tried in the past seems to produce nothing but dinking around all day instead of $$$.  Hopefully this one will be different.  The test doctors sounded great.

Any info about steady accounts, benefits, flexible scheduling from anyone who may work there would be greatly appreciated.  TIA.

I suppose someone could twist the post I put on the company forum as tattling.  However, I dont see how.  My post simply asked what the posts on MT stars were about.  I really don't think I need to "alert" anyone to anything as millions of MTs come to this forum daily.  Also, as some disgruntled ex-Transcenders said, their words not mine, Larry scans these boards regularly himself.

Another thing, I at least tried to go to the source and find out some information about what the OP was saying about unfair treatment, unfair pay and such between newbies and long-termers at Transcend.  I wanted to know what the person was talking about since she wasnt going to explain herself.  At least, I took it where it belonged in the first place, the company.  Of course, there was never a reply as that person isn't able to post using her name. 

Thank you for your post trying to divert the attention on to me instead of the issue at hand.  If  you are leaving or have left, why are still bothered by what I say?

Do you currently work for them?  If so, could you please share a little bit of information about them?  Do you know what their line rate is?

To set the record straight... I posted on here because I spoke from my heart which is the TRUTH about what I think from MY perspective on the companies that I have worked for in the past, just to give someone else some insight....  NO ONE from Keystrokes put me up to this, Not Lee OR Becky... OR not management of any kind, form or shape....

I just wanted to express how I felt about working for Keystrokes as I have worked for MANY nationals out there and anyone can e-mail me OR phone me and I will send you my credentials/resume to let you know this is NOT Lee!!!  I think KEYSTROKES ROCKS!!

Not only I have been transcribing since the ice ages but I have been with TT longer than 1 year.  I have worked on many platforms and have been paid hourly, salarly, by the minute, by the line, and by characters so I too am familiar with different aspects of different line counts and I have never had a problem with TT before but I do now and now is my concern.  I am not trying to badmouth TT because I have no problems with TT I just don't understand my line count and Debbie doesn't understand it either.  My only question has been and still is "is there someone out there who have worked with this platform and know how this line count "really" works?" and if that is a question you can answer for me or if there is some kind of formula you have that you can make me understand it since you seem to know that your counts are correct then I would really appreciate it because after all thats all I am asking for. 

Really not worth a reply.  This "old hag" bets you're a 20-year-old stud, sitting there in your birthday suit, doing OB/GYN notes and getting your delights.  Sheesh, yourself.
