RE: Here's what I did

These whiners about no work just get on my nerves. I never stayed anywhere where I ran out of work, wouldn't tolerate it.  Only ever had to terminate myself once because of running out of work and had another job the next day.  Never got terminated by a company either.  As the saying goes, the squeeky wheel gets the grease and I am a squeeky wheel.  Never felt it was my responsibility to see that my co-workers had work, that's their job. Co-workers work doesn't pay my bills. I expect there are so many inexperienced MTs running around  afraid of losing whatever crumbs they're thrown that they'll tolerate anything  To quote somebody, you never know how big a shadow you'll cast until you stand up.  Stand up for yourselves and stop with the whining. .  Experience = jobs.  Even though I'm retired I have at least 3 places that I could go to work tomorrow, all over 10 cpl.  Don't ask me to name the companies either.  Everyone needs to take responsibility for themself.  You want respect?  Demand it. Wanta be paid what you're worth?  Earn it.

        • Well, you can leave work for others while your - paycheck is short if you feel so inclined.
