QA pay

When I first started with Interpro about 2 years ago, QA was paid by salary of $35,000. That was great, but so much of the work was outsourced to India that it took a lot of time making corrections. Interpro decided to change the pay rate for editors to $.04 cpl. What a joke. Imagine, Indian MTs transcribing horrible foreign dictators. The Indian MTs themselves hardly spoke English. I could tell just from their emails!
This was the 2nd time a company did this to me, switched me (all the editors) from salary/hourly to production. They just don't understand that if you outsource to India, the editor's production is going to go down by at least half.
