I do, but I also take calls 5 p.m. - 9:30 a.m., M-F, and all weekends. It is a small company out of Texas. Not only do I do QA (or clean up in some cases), I mentor, as the owner feels there needs to be new blood. All of which is fine. I also work with another company who gives the whole account (like the complete ambulatory care center) to the MT (I totally love this pool-less type of organization). Further, I have 15 local accounts in the area that I do. Have been transcribbling 34 years. Much of my local files I off-shore - ok flame on. Think about it tho - why would I pay 9 or 10 cents/line for US, when I can get the work done for 4 cents? Although their quality is not the best, I have worked with many US MTs, and their quality (from what I have seen) is not a whole lot better, and the US MT - generally speaking, of course - is not the most reliable person. I have tried the US side over and over again..and they seem to let the ball drop. I am against off-shoring, but I must do what I must do. I guess, bottom line... it is what it is. Flame on.....
