Does anyone know for a fact that Precyse outsources to India?

Precyse accuracy
My employer outsources to Precyse Solutions. Today I was searching for something in one of their reports while listening to the dictation. I found multiple errors including misspelled words, omitted words, lower case words that should have been upper case, etc. I also saw that they added four or five extra spaces on the end of each item on numbered lists and three or four spaces between the number and the first letter of numbered lists. As we all know, these things add up. I have been debating pointing this out to my supervisor. Suggestions are not encouraged where I work so I think I am going to keep quiet. Anybody have a similar experience?
accuracy pay
You all have it wrong with them. They pay for all reports but, the CLIENT sometimes does not pay for low accuracy. In my opinion, if you perform that poor of work, do not work as an MT because all clients need that accuracy. I own an MTSO and I know AccuStat and other MTSOs and believe me, the clients expect quality and all you MTs should know that!!!!!!!!
Speed vs. Accuracy
Medical transcription in the 21st century emphasizes production and speed. While your medical background is a big help, you will need to crank out the lines if you have any hope of making money, especially as a newbie. Please keep in mind the time, effort and energy expenditure versus the financial return. Finally, I would keep my options open, and not limit them to medical transcription. Good luck.
MPTools' accuracy
Hi,
I invite you to have a look at a page discussing MPTools' accuracy.
vJoe
that is not true! They do value accuracy sm
and attention to detail!
don't know how long you have been doing MT but there are folks who have accuracy, attention to detail and productivity also. If you have them all you will also be offered a betterline rate!
The accuracy is also important when they end up -
in court. This year I was a juror for an assault/'attempted murder' trial. I tried my best to get out of it, seeing as how my company doesn't pay for jury duty. But, when the attorneys were screening the potential jurors in the courtroom, asking among other things what they did for a living, you should've seen the judges face literally LIGHT UP when I told her I was an MT. I knew immediately she wasn't letting me off. The defendant's attorneys weren't going to let me go, either.
And later I could see why. While in deliberations, we were presented with a pile of medical reports that were at least telephone-books thick.
I was the only one that knew their way around those reports, so that was my job to read through them. I was grateful that the transcriber of these reports had been very accurate, with few blank spaces. The doctors in the key part of the reports, which had to do with the forensics of the stab wounds themselves, were accurate and to-the-point, and there was no confusing double-speak. That would've been even more important had a non-medical-language-understanding lay-person been assigned to read through the medical evidence.
As it turned out, these well-done medical records had evidence with regard to the placement of the stab wounds that proved without a doubt that these wounds were made in accidental self-defense, and not as the aggressor. This prevented an innocent woman who was being beaten by an abusive husband from going to jail.
So, the records we type every day, day in and day out, can have far-reaching consequences that we'll most likely never even know about, but which we should always be thinking of.
If you fall below 98.9% accuracy twice within a year, sm
they dock you 1 cpl. It is on page 10 of the information I received from the recruiter.
From the info they sent me, they require 98.9% accuracy, sm
and if you fall below that 2 times within a year, they dock you 1 cent per line. If it happens 3 times in a year, you're terminated. As I recall, pay scale was something like .074 cpl to 10 cpl (think the 10 cpl. The benefits seemed decent enough. I have never had anyone give me any warnings or whatever regarding my accuracy, but most companies require only 98%, and the thought that if you fell below almost 99% twice within a year they would dock your pay was enough to back me off.
Their test is rather easy, though, I must say. Good luck to you.
I did ask that, it would increase accuracy, productivity, TAT....sm
She took me off one of the two clinics so now I only have about 35 docs and maybe 10 specialities, but I believe this is only temporary since I am having trouble familiarizing. I just get the impression that I am not up to par where I should be and I'm surprised, as I'm a quick study. And to pour salt in it, my two QA people on our Messenger List notated next to their names yesterday that they were typing ___ and listed my account name. These ladies only type when backed up. So I think I'm bogging them down:( I feel so inadequate, and for less than 8 cpl. Oy.
Accuracy is demanded, and follow BOS to the letter.

On the old typewriters, my mother could type over 100 WPM with 100% accuracy -
She was always very proud of the fact that she never had to use correction fluid or paper or ribbon or whatever they used back then. She had been typing so long and was such a perfectionist. I am not quite as accurate since I have the computer to do so much correcting for me, but I am still pretty darn fast, and then my daughter won every speed/accuracy keyboard competition the whole time she was in middle school.
It definitely can be done...
No, they kept me with all the layoffs, and my accuracy rate is upper 90s, so not worried about that
x
Forgot to say that I value accuracy over speed...sure I could go fasther but at what price? NM
xx
I disagree. Accuracy of patient medical records should not be dependent on how smooth your life is
at the time. If you had quality issues, and they were being sent to you, which is a warning, then you should have been extra careful. Our clients deserve a perfect product regardless of what life is handing you at the moment.
What is so picky about them? I don't think wanting accuracy is picky...
It is professional...
Precyse
Am considering Precyse and would appreciate any feedback from gals/guys who currently work for this company. The good, the bad, and anything in between. Thanks.
Precyse
GO for it! I've owned my own company and worked for others. This is the classiest, best run, best paid, best benefits place I've ever found.
Precyse. sm
Is achieving a decent line count at Precyse easy to do?
Precyse. sm
I have tested with them twice, they were slow responding. Usually when I test I get an immediate response and job offer, they are a little slow in getting back. Would like to hear from Precyse MTs - line counts reasonably achievable?
Precyse
Been with Precyse 3+ years. Their recruiting needs some big time attention. They are rather selective about who they hire and quality is an issue. In my experience, I have had no problem achieving my lines, including the bonus every pay period for lines over 12,000. Of course I have been doing this for over 20 years!
Precyse
I am not a newbie either. I am switching companies trying to find a fit. Precyse cheats people with 20 years or plus experience on line counts. You are told, you will get feedback from every report, Not so, if you are very capable. I have done a lot, a lot of lines. Worked all day the day before I quit with all my macros, stayed focused and had 600 lines. That has never happened to me before, even with learning curve. I do 12-500 a day, until I met them. I finally figured out, they don't pay for headers, so why should I do them? I don't think they pay for footers either. I am running back to my old job as soon as I can, at least they don't steel lines.
Precyse/MDI
I've worked for both these companies. The platform is Webcorrect (DocQScribe). I happen to love that platform and I managed 1200 to 1400 lines in 6-7 hours - yes, relatively easy to get. I did all consultations and ERs (didn't like being stuck in these work types and ended up, after about 4 months, not getting any ERs). If you didn't like the old Edix management, you probably won't like Precyse. For the most part, though, other than a couple of snippy QA and supervisors, they're not bad.
As far as MDI goes, I did voice recognition for them for a few weeks. The platform I worked on was Escription - easy. The problem is, VR doesn't pay well (about half) and it is very possible to spend lots of time on these reports. Spent about 70% of the time on VR and the rest typing. These folks seemed unorganized and no one was available. If you're a self-starter, you'll do fine.
In my opinion, Precyse is the better, more structured company with much better benefits. The pay is always on time, every other week. If you don't like DocQScribe (Webcorrect), though, don't go there.
Good luck to you. Wish you the best.
Hope this helps. Email me for any further questions about where I work now.
And I think Precyse too?
nm
Precyse does too

Precyse
Do they pay well? Annual raises? Do they pay on time? Do they put you on too many accounts? Is platform fast enough? Is their line counting system fair?
Any other comments appreciated.
Thanks
Precyse
As I said before, each MT has to find a company that fits their needs and schedule. I've been with Precyse going on 4 years (they are only 6 years old) and love it. Pay is good, I always have work (of course I work a split shift by choice and there is always work), and have been on the same 2 accounts the whole time. They do not hold your hand, you have to be independent, but I like that. I never have PC problems, paycheck problems, or problems achieving my lines. I love their PTO account and the fact that it adds up so quickly. I've been doing this a long time and by far this is best national I have worked for thus far.
That's my 2 cents!
Try Precyse, could get 9-10 cpl
Good benefits, too.
Precyse
anyone working for Precyse or know anything about them? thanks
Precyse
I just called the Precyse telephone number and used the prompts for employment opportunities, and medical transcription. The automated voice said, Just a minute, please... Then there was screeching, like a fax machine! ROFL!
Anybody know a better way to contact them? I took their on-line test last week, and I just wanted to follow up.
Precyse...
I have looked in the archives. Awhile back it seemed there were mostly good things to say about them. Now I see more negative posts. Is someone reading this who wouldn't mind it if I Email and ask some specifics? TIA.
Precyse uses it too.
Precyse MTs, (sm)
I will be training on Precyse soon. Just wondered if you guys had any pointers about getting started off on the right foot. Also, do any of you use your own PC or do you use theirs?
Precyse
I am thinking about looking into Precyse. Does anyone have any really bad experiences with them such as lack of work etc.?
I believe Precyse does too. -nm

Precyse
all,
Does anyone know anything good or bad about Precyse, preferably from others that work for them or have worked for them? Interested in possibly checking them out and applying, but have not heard much about them. Likes, dislikes, benefits, requirements, etc., etc. Do they require you to have your own computer or rent from them? Do they have full-time, part-time or SE status? Basically anything you could offer in terms about the company would be great.
Precyse
Hmmm, I find it very interesting that someone would encourage you to stay with MQ and see if it gets better...amazing. I've worked there too on my rounds of nationals and it isn't pretty. I will continue to say that Precyse is a great company to work for, been there 4+ years and have no desire to look anywhere else. In truth, I cannot give you any input regarding the QA positions (I've been offered one, but hate QA work, prefer transcribing---and I make more money that way). I can tell you from an MT standpoint (and having done QA at other companies), they are consistent and constructive with the quarterly reviews and YES, they actually do the quarterly reviews, not just claim to do the reviews like others I have worked for in the past. That's my 2-cents.
Precyse
To anyone who has applied, how long did it take Precyse to get back with you after you completed the test at mttest.com? Thanks so much.
Precyse
Anyone have anything to say about Precyse? Good or bad?
Precyse
I left MQ, went to Precyse, now back at MQ. Precyse is wonderful when recruiting, then ditch you without answering emails, phone calls, etc. Because I tested high score they gave me their absolute worst accounts (verified by QA who was frustrated when I quit shortly after starting .... I was one of many).
Precyse does.

Precyse
Just got a job with Precyse and it sounds like an awesome company; people are so nice, not like MQ. They said we will work as a team, wow, never had that at MQ. I am so happy. Rad Transcriptionist for 23 years and finally going to be appreciated. Benefits and sign on bonus. Free equipment and reimbursement for internet connection every three months 60.00. I cannot wait to get started.
precyse
I also start Precyse Tuesday. I'm really excited. My pay is actually better than it was with MQ with the new rewards plan. I have been in contact with a Precyse employee and she has nothing but good things to say about them. I don't think any company is perfect. I'm just glad to be getting away from MQ and moving on to something better. Good luck to ya!
Thanks Precyse MT
I need some encouragement, after 13 years with the company from hell.
Precyse
To all looking for Radiology transcription full-time at home Precyse is hiring and they are the most nicest considerate people I have ever met. Check out their web page for what they offer. I reviewed the boards about Precyse and found only 1 or 2 negatives.
Precyse
Thanks for the feedback. I just applied, already took the tests, so here's hoping!
Precyse
Agree 100% If Pam is still the QA manager there, you are in the right place. She is tops. What you don't already know you will absolutely learn there.
precyse
I just started with Precyse and the communication has been wonderful. I have had emails and calls like crazy. I would try and call your supervisor, make sure she's not on vacation or something.
Precyse
They have been running out of work.

Someone is calling me today regarding more information on the job. I am reluctant to take a 3rd shift position but, at this point, I might accept it because I need to make a change.
Precyse
Has anyone had contact from Precyse after accepting a position recently?
