archives, but only found 1 post that they use DQS. Saw their ad for QA position, and it sounds great to me! I have the qualifications for sure, but am nervous about the company itself! Any info? My only desires at this point are honesty/integrity, and a safe future! Not too much to ask for! Can anyone share any info on Precyse? Thanks so much!

The problem with this forum is that it is a forum...
meant for MTs who want to share information, get answers, and sometimes just vent about a problem. The post about cherrypicking began with the MTs problem of having to transcribe reports that were obviously skipped over by her fellow MTs. The response was quit being a cherrypicking busybody and do your job.
Regardless of how you view cherrypicking, how is that response helpful in the least? If you do not have anything productive to add to a thread, then just stay out of it. That was completely inflammatory and characteristic of what a troll would do.
Nobody wants to hear just deal with it when they need a solution to a problem. They also don't want to hear about how perfect other MTs and if they were just like them, it would not be an issue.
In your own words, nobody likes it but some choose not to worry about it. Then don't respond to the thread. Don't be pompous. Don't make it sound like you are so superior because you don't care if you get all the worst dictators. Maybe give a positive response on how cherrypicking is good and should be appreciated.
That is the problem with this forum...the people who come here to be completely unhelpful in the guise of being a perfect MT.

most of what I have found is pretty old. Are the current employes squelched when it comes to giving out information regarding the company or are they just so busy they don't have time to mess around on the boards? E-mail if you are concerned about being flamed or don't want to post for whatever reason. TIA.

Oh no! That is not good to hear. I searched
the archives and there were a lot of good things about them. I was considering switching from another well thought of company which is wanting us to work every weekend, just so I would not have to work every weekend. Sounds like this may be a move from the frying pan to the fire! Please, if anyone has any info good or bad post before I or anyone else makes a mistake... Thanks!

The company board allows you to ask questions. I just can't see recruiters having the time to frequent this board and answer questions. Why not just contact the recruiter with questions. You'll get a right from the horse's mouth answer as opposed to people scorn. Everyone is different in their opinion. I've seen people that love Meditech or hate it. I've seen people that love Emdat and others that think it steals lines. So, I'm not so sure an additional board with the expectation that job recruiters will frequent this site all day and night and provide answers (also not knowing if it really is a recruiter) will enhance this site. It is what it is. If you want to ask about a company, the ask away on the company board, that's what it's for. Of course, this is all JMHO.
BTW: This is on company board because at first
I was going to name the companies, but then decided not to for fear of losing jobs altogether. You know, word gets around, and this MT needs as many jobs as possible right now. So thanks for understanding about not putting on main board, this was meant to be put on company board. Tx

I think I know the one you're referring to. This one is a big city hospital about 4 hours away from me so would have to relocate temporarily and then could come home and work. I don't particularly like that aspect of it either and that would cause a hardship too. I think hospitals are more rigid in their schedule requirements too. I know these type of jobs are far and few between and very coveted but I know I would not be happy having to work that shift. Thanks for your responses. I appreciate it more than you know.

I cannot believe that representatives from any company would come on to this or any other board
and call a poster a liar! My God, that is truly the most unprofessional thing ever. If this person worked for my company, they would be terminated before they could bat an eye! That KS thinks that this is acceptable makes my head hurt. The thing with these boards is that you pretty much have to just ignore what's being said about you. Every single company in this business has, or will have, something bad posted about them at some point. Ignore it and move on. By coming to the board to publically refute the allegations you are just lending credence to the issue and dragging it out. Not to mention looking like a classless, tactless idiot.
