Perhaps that's it.

In Reply to: Maybe you were just not meant to do - LOVING VR
I did do fine during my year-long incarceration as a QA staff. What I have found with VR that is so very frustrating is this. When I was a QA staffperson, I might have found 2-3 errors on an MTs report. Editing them was a breeze. I have a very good ear for ESL and all specialties, so filling in blanks is actually my weird idea of FUN. Doing VR work, however, I have found 2-3 errors PER LINE of transcribed text. I have to keep a complete eagle-eye out for errors, and I truly do find that I can do straight transcription much faster than VR. There is no FUN in VR either, because the blanks to be filled in are nonexistent. VR does do a fairly decent job on more medical words than English words and formatting, from what I've seen on the platform I have used. If there is a better platform out there, one that doesn't mess up formatting on a regular basis, one that can tell a TWO from a (2) from a TO from a TOO, I'd sure like to know about it!
