I cannot get a hold of anybody. I have called and called and called. No answer for either number. I have e-mailed a couple of times. Last night they logged into yahoo messenger. I said good evening, and they didn't respond. I just don't like being hung out to dry like that. I really need that money, because my husband and I are closing on our house at then end of this month.

I guess that is what I get for trying to work for a smaller company.

Yes, you can protest the hospital, but you would be cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Why don't you ask for a meeting with the hospital administrator(s)? Find out why they are OK with offshoring, why they do it. Find out if you can solicit work as an individual or part a newly created CO-OP. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
It would feel delicious to get your picture in the paper/on TV and make your point, but it is NOT likely to solve the problem.
WHY are people so loathe to organize anymore?
Give your support to organizations already protesting offshoring. Just Google that and I bet you find a group.

The owner is wonderful. They have great accounts. You are not in a pool. You get your own dictators. The pay is on time. The support is great. Overall, a wonderful company.

My friend and I both worked for them last year and the work was pleasant enough, but not enough of it, so had to find steady work. The owner kept telling us she would get new accounts but did not see it happening fast enough for my needs. Kept telling her I needed steady work. Don't know what they are like now. When she hired us, she said she had plenty, but turned out not to be the case.

I really like it there a lot. We have tons of work, excellent feedback from QA, great boss to work for, good pay. I spot check their counts against my count on MSWord (characters with spaces divided by 25) from time to time, and it is always exactly the same or 1 line more on DocQScribe.
