Meagan: You and I started at Focus at just about the same time! My actual date of hire was 7/27/2007 but I think I started working on about 8/3/2007.
Also my baby girl (she's 16) is named Meagan spelled just like yours. It's a very pretty name, don't you think? She was the last of my 5 children (4 girls) so I had to work harder to come up with a name I really liked for her.

Joint Effort
 Our profession is slowly slipping away into the hands of countries overseas, all for purpose of allowing the MTSOs to increase their profit margins, a profit margin which they do not share with those who ARE the backbone of the company - the MTs. We truly need to compile a list of those companies who do and do not offshore and urge our fellow MTs to work ONLY for those companies who keep the work here at home and boycott those who do not. I am proud to say that I am one of those MTs who works for a company who does not offshore. It may take time, but after a while those who offshore will no longer have the quality of a US MT and they will be affected where it hurts, in their wallet. It's time that we, as American MTs, take a stand against big business who choose to offshore!

Before I am flamed, I should clarify that I am in my second year at KS but my anniversary with them
I received a Christmas gift of a gift card for movies, popcorn and pop for Blockbusters, some chocolates and a candle for MT Week and a sympathy card when a family member died. THAT is the human touch that I appreciate. I make good money, have a good account and they STILL take the time to remember that we are not numbers. Flame away. I love my job and those who left the company on bad terms or were terminated will be sure to let us know that only their opinions matter.
