Anyone work/worked for TSSC here? I did a search but only came up with posts from a year or more ago. Any current info out there? I'm looking for something part time to supplement my other account. Things seem to have dried up here again with one account, kind of difficult to just relax and take the free time to prepare for the holidays when I need the money in order to do that!

I work for TSSC and highly recommend them. They don't have pools, so you get to become accustomed to the same doctor(s). They are easy to work with, i.e., if you need more work or less work, they can adjust your work load with no problem. Pay is 1st and 15th, direct deposit, always on time (if not early). I have typed many, many dictators over the years (7) and think they have a supply of good dictators. Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer. They are also good at giving feedback.

I realize and understand why the MTs are upset about the pay cut. That being said, you don't know the technicalities of the whole situation. I personally don't think that if your account was not one that was being reduced, then your pay should not be reduced. But that is my opinion. I am also amazed that there are people out there that actually pay more than 10 cpl!

That being said....I am currently working part time for a company for 8 cpl (which satisfies me), and I am looking for another typing position to offer me work every day. I would be happy to rescue some of you from your 8 and 9 cpl hell for a little more work every day. I would just be grateful to have the extra income at this point.

Jobs are not easy to come by these days guys....be grateful that you have a job because the only alternative would be to start your own MT company, and we all know that takes money. So, it puts you between a rock and a hard place and it sucks, I agree. But keep in mind that there are people out there that would happily take your jobs and not fuss about it.

I know that TSSC is hiring now. They have an ad on the Job board. Truly a great company to work for if you want to still work as an IC but get the accounts and get paid on time. No bennies, but definitely worth the accounts. They have direct deposit now also.

I just started with TSSC 6 months ago. I think it was the best move I could make. I have assigned accounts. I know when my work is coming and don't have to worry about it being given to someone else. Pay is never an issue. They have direct deposit and set paydays. No waiting for the check to come.

I've worked for TSSC for 2 years now and they are awesome! It's a small company and the owners are great to work for. The accounts are assigned so you're able to build up your line count quicker. Direct deposit and never late. I'd give it a try!

This is simply the opinion of the person who wrote it. That does not mean you don't have the intelligence to make an informed decision. Obvious the person who wrote this had problems with 2 different companies. That particular person may have problems with any company they work for.

When you read these posts, keep in mind that if everyone agreed with all of these posts there would not be a transcription company in business anywhere.

I do not know about OSi but SoftScript has treated me well, as will most nationals if you give them your best effort. They want to hire good MTs and expect quality work. Give them that and you will be compensated fairly and treated well.

I've worked for them going on 4 years now and plan on staying. I've worked on the same accounts all 4 years (tough ESLs, but after awhile, you get them all and can get plenty of lines---plus nobody wants your accounts and work is plenty--something I have learned in my 25+ years). The pay is good, it's always accurate and on time, PTO is great, and I love not having someone over my shoulder all the time. I've done my rounds at other nationals and this has been my best experience. Each company is unique, you have to see what works best for you.

In my experience the KS platform is easy to use, my rad account has plenty of work and great communication with team lead. Pay is on time and plenty of opportunity to make money.

Be careful with expressing yourself and getting answers with X-Press. I went through the interview process with X-Press over a year ago, they sent me manuals, ready to start but when I emailed my lead, asking the usual few questions about the company, (basically to ease my mind since the hiring process was SO long and had been told conflicting things) she forwarded it to Mr. David and he in turn accused me of being a trouble maker and of slander! It was all very strange.
