I know it's hard to believe that there can be a corporation this successful that is genuine. That has senior and corporate managers that care. Who know their team. Who respect the American workforce and are proud of the transcription industry.
However, that's the truth. Transcend has always been good to me and afforded opportunities for advancement I didn't have with other MTSOs. My managers have always shown integrity and sincerity and I've been treated fairly. Now that I'm a manager, I am inspired to support my team in the same way I was supported as an MLS.
Sue McGrogan and Larry Gerdes are some of the most down-to-earth and solid people I've had the good fortune to encounter. Theirs is an open door policy, as evidenced by the fact that Sue's mama is on MTStars today.
There are many, many happy employees here - don't let the sour grapes ruin your impression of the best MTSO in the biz.

being QA doesn't mean you are above everyone else, you are just an extra set of ears...and why do so many MTs take offense to QA??? That is my point...you made have had bad experiences in the past with QA but not all QA are bad...

I meant this is the only way to get my foot to the right job by going back to school part-time. So many colleges offer online courses that you can do from your home, but of course you have to go to the actual school to take your tests like in math, etc., so you do not get caught cheating. It's really worth completing your education these days. I figured my daughter will be able to come home on her own in about 3 years, so I should be able to find a decent job by then rather than making 6 or 7 cents a line as an MT. I cannot get anywhere with that kind of money.

I meant to say if you ARE a professional. In other words, the owner is very nice, but a very poor communicator and a bit scatterbrained. I accepted a job with them and the emails went back and forth for almost a month trying to set up training time. She kept forgetting what account I was supposed to be set up on. The platform she uses is great, but she does not take advantage of it fully and does not use the doctor or patient databases, so you will have to look up each doctor manually and enter the information manually for each and every letter you type....such a shame, and definitely not worth the money.
