The hospital is somewhat picky, but I have run into this before. Each hospital wanted things done differently. If you are not set in your ways and willing to change, I don't think it is a problem. QA has been great so far. Actually, I don't consider it "picky", just that they want things done a certain way. As long as you follow the account specifics, you won't have a problem. I think there are some MTs who are stuck in their ways and won't or can't change to adapt to changes. My account is a verbatim account. It is a large teaching hospital. The dictators themselves are not bad at all, in fact not too much ESL (at least what I am used to). It is a large hospital, so there is a broad number of different specialities, etc., so experience is needed in different specialties. I do not know any details of the hospitals in Florida as far as kind of dictators or size of hospital.
The platform is average to above average in my experience. You do have to keep a lot of windows open and sometimes switch back and forth, but the demographics pop in automatically (you don't have to type patient name, etc unless it is keyed in wrong). One thing I do find cumbersome is that they give you long lists of doctors and residents and you have to refer to these for spelling, credentials, etc. But I have not found a platform yet that is perfect and so far I am exceeding minimal line counts required (1200 per day).
