Not going to sing more praises sm

I know that I have been effusive about TransTech, as have others. I think many of you are lucky that you have never been abused by your MTSO, but a lot of us HAVE!
I have friends who are MTs too. The describe name calling. They talk about being told to work every weekend and all week with no days off, because they are told they will be fired. (You can't fire a slave, a slave has to be sold.) Many of us support ourselves and/or a family out of necessity and this is not a second income. We put up with this stuff because it is easier than being hungry and homeless.
I know about not being paid and currently I have $5000 I am still owed over the past 5 years. I have had rubber checks. I have had late checks. I have screwed out of my lines because they thought I was doing too well so they refigured how they count my lines and I made less. I have been offered 9 cents and then paid 8.25 and not told why, can't get any answers from anyone why they aren't doing what was in my CONTRACT and won't fix it. I have been bullied over the phone by an IC supervisor who called me, she said to rip you a new one. (I had left an hour early the day before because there was no work.) I have been promised enough work and I don't know what they think is plenty, but it doesn't match up with my production. You name it, I think I have been there, seen it, done it, bought the T-shirt and seen the cheesy movie!
You'll please pardon some of us who have been through the above and worse. It is refreshing to me to have a place where there truly is enough work that I don't run short. It is scary to have people be so nice to me because I wonder what they are after, and believe it can't be good. Being treated like a human being at work is different for ME. I think many of us who have gone to TT recently are surprised, scared of being treated properly, and feel very grateful...so we voice it and bore the rest of you to tears. There are other companies who are like this too, and those of you who work for KS go right ahead. I got yelled at there too for coming here to ask a question about the platform that no one would take the time to answer for me.
To each their own. This is mine, I like it and if there comes a time I don't, I'll be back to ask you all where I should apply.

You can sing CS praises until you are fired
out of the blue for no reason like so many other leads there.
I used to sing the highest praises of this company, but they are s/m
sadly becoming one of many in the business who, in the end, caree nothing about the MT. I have been out of work for days! (I have 4 accounts of 90% ESL and do all work types). I am interviewing for other jobs outside of the MT world as we speak. Can't afford to sit here without work for more than a day. It has been more like a week with no work that amounts to anything.
I was told the other day that they had to hold work for one of our hospitals because that hospital has in-house union workers who needed the work!!!
I wouldn't waste my time to come here to sing praises of a company. ahh
I come here sometimes to vent and to hopefully keep some other poor person from having to suffer the same bad time. But I don't come here to slather prasies on some company because they are doing what they profess the are supposed to be doing in the first place. I'm doing my job - and if they are doing their job - nothing needs to be said.
Ironically, an "employee" would sing the praises of CIT when they were hiring and then I found
the real poster was the manager so I believe this also is management. I think it is pretty low for a manager to pretend to be an employee trying to recruit other people under false pretenses.
My Praises
I agree with you wholeheartedly. The appreciation and the kindness that Transtech shows their employees is genuine...I can attest to that. It's not fake or superficial. I look forward to being the best I can be and doing the best I can do first and foremost for myself/home/family and for TransTech as well. I have never been at a job before where I did not absolutely dread going into work, especially after being off 2 days. It's not that way with TransTech. On my days off I find myself coming in here and looking at my computer contemplating on whether or not to sign in and get a few extra lines. They are that way. If you want them they will find somewhere for you to get more lines. I love it here. As for the insurance thing from earlier in the week. This is going on EVERYWHERE. My husband's insurance went up $7.17 more a pay period for single coverage than mine did. Everyone I know has had increases in their insurance. It's the insurance companies having to make up for the high cost of medical care these days. There are more people than ever on welfare and government assistance and this is just a ripple effect. Hospitals have increased their prices because of this problem (among many others) that ripples down to the insurance companies having to pay out more and that ripples down to the consumer having to pay more for their premiums. So, it's not a remote thing, it's everywhere. I love my job and will stay on as long as they will have me.
singing their praises
I work for them part time and I gotta tell ya, it's the best place. No ESLs and sooooo easy. Everyone is super nice and very professional.
Well, I for one have sung their praises, but (sm)
I never said there were no ESLs. Every account has them, but I always get a mix. Just a thought, but do you suppose some of us might be more familiar with doing ESLs?? Something to ponder. What to someone else might seem like a hard dictator to me might be a cinch.
Nobody asked you to sing for us. n/m

When I can confirm my new job, I will sing the name of this company

Ok, I won't. It IS hard to sing over the whining.
