We also do not supply equipment any more, so that is another lie. Unreturned phone calls? Another lie. All 8 people in the office answer the phone and take care of the person who called immediately.
You are a troublemaker and obviously have nothing better to do than post lies.
The only time posts get pulled is when someone calls someone out by name or gives away account or confidential information.
There is NO ONE that has slipped through the cracks. No one.

Just wait. Only 2 weeks with them sure does not make you the expert.
Wait to you get moved to one of the crap accounts and then come back and tell us how wonderful it is. All these rah, rah, rah posts are by management or by new people who have the good accounts to break in on. The rest of the accounts are total hell

They use ancient equipment anyway. Get with a company that is with the times. Furthmore KS'ers on this board seem like recruiters to me or else they get paid to put nice things about that company. I think they're 9 cents short of a dime. I can feel it in my gut. No company is that great. 
Oh, I also heard they start everyone at 9 cpl, which is a lie! That was told on this board as well. Don't believe everything you read. I'd rather work for Transcend or MQ! HAHAHAHAHAHA
I start Wednesday and I can't wait. sm
Nervous about it but in a good way, a positive way. Sure hope this national is not like the one I am at now.
How long to wait to start new job?
I was offered a new job Monday and sent in the completed paperwork as required right away via fax. I got a welcome letter the same day. I have heard nothing since and did email once thanking them for the position and indicated I was ready to start immediately. Still, I have heard absolutely nothing since. How long should I wait to actually get started? I was told that they were growing and I could have as much work as I wanted. Any advice?

You may be asked to invest in expensive equipment, likely to run out of work regularly and not have your calls returned when you try to contact them. They do pay well but the work is NOT there more than it is, so great pay doesn't mean much. They sell it to you great but they don't deliver.

They have been wonderful so far in the hiring process. They have several VAs starting now...The one I will work on goes live on the 31st. You should check them out again.
So have not experienced anything yet, but have been told they are a good company.
Oh, great. I'm about to start in 2 or 3 weeks.
The fun never ends. I think I will take a LOA from transcription for a while. I am going right now to get my poster board and picket sticks and post Strike on them to walk around my house and living room. Perhaps you will see this on the news. But really, since I left my job at the hospital, it has been one MTSO after another with the bait and switch biz. Ugggg. Maybe if I go on strike I can at least get food stamps. No kidding.

Nope! Not a troublemaker and Transcend did the
same to me and a few of my friends who worked/work for them. Horrible, horrible accounts, horrible platform - the old bait and switch. Truly a horrific experience with that company for lots of us, and we very politely and quietly went away. What a crank to blame the MT and assume he/she is a troublemaker. This board is for SUPPORT. Do you know how much it freaks one out to leave a company and then crash at another, thru no fault of your own but inheriting the garbage dictation.

I am sorry if you took that I called you a liar, just thought you should share the info- I don't search this board too often. I was looking word help and thought I would jump on to see if there was any GOOD news about our direct deposit and ran across all this. Again, sorry if you felt that I called you a liar- don't know you to do that!
Well you called her a liar. We have a lot of new MTs
who appear to be happy. When you call someone a liar, you should be prepared to back up that claim. I am sorry they changed their mind on the trainer position. Perhaps they put it on hold. At least they told you that they decided not to hire anyone. Some companies leave you hanging.

What I said is absolutely true for me. It may not be the case for other people, but my experience has been very positive with WMX. So, it's not a crock of sh##. I'm not trying to talk for other people, just telling about my own, true, actual experience.

don't even think you'll make that kind of money there. They pay about 6 cents a line for typing and 3 for speech recognition editing. It's an insult.

because I was warned with a written warning. So, I upped the ante and started doing the required line count and quality flew out of the window.

Yes, they offer I think 4 weeks at full pay or 8 weeks at half pay. Call the office
and talk to them about it. You wont lose your job. They aren't like that.

I had work the first 2 full weeks I was there.. afterwards I was bombarded with hours and lines to make up. i.e., 11-15 hours every single week with a paycheck that never topped $200 except for my first one because they pay $200 to train. They always wanted everyone available every hour of every day. At least my TM is. You need to come back after you are there for a while and let me know how it is REALLY going for you.
Only excuse I ever got was the doctors are on vacation thats why no one has work... umm I had like over 50 when I stopped counting in my work pool.. so I highly doubt it.
I really do hope everything works out for you. 
I was told we can never use our own computer. Everyone has to use theirs.

OH MY GOSH - thank you so much for posting this information.
I got an email from them telling me about a job and that I was preselected. Everything about the email was so professional, even the mention of sending them $11.95 to keep active with their staffing service, taking a typing test and sending the results, etc.
I got the email the evening before Thanksgiving and they needed a reply by the Friday after Thanksgiving because the job was supposed to start the next week. I got the feeling of [quote] hurry so you don't miss this opportunity.[/quote]
IT SOUNDED AND LOOKED SO GOOD - and I didn't have a lot of time to research this company - so I started with these forums and lo and behold here was my answer.

I fell for it the first time that they sent me something. I think it had to do with data entry but then they said that the positions have been filled. I find out that there was only like 2-4 positions that they had opened.

to say you love them. I worked for them for a few years and got so tired of the bad platform and the fact they were always promising this and promising that...and it would be real soon...but after waiting 3 years none of this ever happened...so went to greener pastures. A lot of their platforms are not transcription friendly at all.
My 2 cents worth...I know a lot of people do like them and that is fine...for them anyway!

Why would you wait to see what others SM
are doing? Get out now! If you wait, you will be a latecomer to whatever company you end up with. Why don't you be one of the first? I have never understood staying even a minute with a company that had me sitting around waiting for work. Move on. I have not worked at TT, but I know how this goes.

These rewards seem to come in benefit those who wait until the absolute last minute because then the work has piled up and the company offers bonuses for meeting X number of lines over the weekend? Who loses? The MTs who typed all week already and are reliable and TIRED at this point and cannot type over the weekend, so no bonus for them for being dependable the other 12 days of the pay period!
I don't think I can wait that long!
I haven't talked to anyone from Amphion, but their web site info looks great, especially the make your own schedule and holidays being completely up to the MT.

Don't do it. She asked all MTs to wait for their
checks in January and told us that it would happen again in July. I had bounced checks, late checks and the owner is a snake. Not the same as Keystrokes. LeePerfect's owner's first name is not Lee.
