You people need to get a grip and get with the program or get out of the field of MT and quit your belly aching. It takes a tough skin, which as you can see I have grown all by myself. I've done my time in this field and I'll be darned with the skills I have will I sit around and wait for work to dribble in.

No one is to do for you; do for yourself. That has always been and never will change, ever. No one is going to give you a free ride.

What I see here are people whining that they have had the easy street and now it's time to work for a living and it's oh poor me. Cut me a break already!

Call me self-righteous if you please, but I call it assertiveness. I will not be someone's doormat.

I'm done!

P/S: I was a victim of outsourcing/offshoring. I gave 17 years of my life and hard work to a hospital that thought nothing to throw my work to the service since they had issues with me wanting a darned day off. So, don't tell me that I don't know and that it didn't happen to me.

I have stated that I have sympathy for the current situation but no sympathy for whiney MTs who think they have no other choice but to sit at the hands of an MTSO while they have no work.
