I am paid by the line and am required to do a full listen on any report that I get...no matter who typed it.
My company also pulls reports and compares the number of seconds in the dictation to the number of seconds that QA staff spends on each report to ensure that we are not just filling in a blank and uploading the report.
We occasionally get emails reminding the QA staff that they are to do a full listen on ALL reports. They also point out -we are seeing that some are only spending 11 seconds in reports that are 358 seconds- They make sure we know that they check up on us.
