Need a company with dialup and that works in Word
You might want to try FutureNet. The downloading and uploading is slow depending on the size of the account, but I had to use an air card for a bit, and that worked fine. Also do a search on MtJobs for example because there are a few other companies that allow dialup and if they use an FTP site, that should work as well although a bit slow.
small to medium company that works in Word or Word-based program - email me. nm

Just wanna work in Word - need company that works in WORD! nm

The platform is Word. Their program works with Word but does not change how Word works. nm
The benefits just changed the first part of this month. I don't have them but I remember them being reasonabl for a single person. Family and spouse was not reasonable in any way (in my opinion).
Yes, dialup works great with Bayscribe sm
Yes, dialup works great. I can type as the voice file is downloading. When you look under settings in the Bayscribe player there is a modem and broandband. I have mine all the way to modem. I have had no problems although I really miss DSL, but love the fact I can work without haveing to wait for long voice files to load. I don't have DSL available where I live.
Their program works with Word and does not change how Word functions. sm
You use your own expander. Overall I feel it is user friendly and I like it.
You just type in Word. Very simple. nm

Shorthand, any expander that works with Word
Great company to work for - some dictators are difficult to understand at first, very good compensation.
I think MT-World is a software "shell" that works around your Word program. Does anyone know f

This company sounds great, but they don't accept satellite users. :(
Other than that, from what I can see, they provide equipment/software, etc. Sounds like a really great company. I would apply if they could look over the satellite situation. I have had no problems with three other companies using satellte.
It does work, you do not need to "make" it work.. it works in all word based programs.

Not same company, but works with
other smaller companies who are partners, which is what TTD is, doing overflow work on various accounts for SGS. I wouldn't work for anyone who helps in any way such an outrageously vile company like SGS.
The way it works with my company....
is the work is routed that MORNING so, if Suzy-Q is sick then they may ask if everyone would be willing to do an extra 100 lines or so to make up for her work. It's not a problem at all.
Know someone who works for this company and...
They are none too happy with the work that they get. In fact, there are times that she dose not have any work. Not happy about this at all. Sad, actually.
My hubby works for a company who is
self-insured and our premiums for family coverage are only $200/month with a $500 deductible. It's great - when hubby had to have bypass surgery last fall they paid the entire bill with the exception of less than $2000.
Unfortunatley MQ isn't the only company that works that way.
I worked for another large national (I would name them, but every time I do, my post gets deleted) and had the same issues. That is what finally made me move away from acute care. I was tired of being tied to the computer all day and night logging in and out to see if there was work. I would still end up having to use PTO to get in my required hours. I never did accrue any PTO because I was out of work every Sunday and Monday without fail. I would get emails weekly that I wasn't meeting my line counts. How could I meet line counts if there was no work? I got tired of being badgered for things out of my control and quit. So much happier since I did.
word for word company
does anyone know about word for word transcription company? how are they to work for, platform? thanks in advance!
Anyone who works for a FL company, pls see FL state board. Thanks. NM

It doesn't matter one whip which company she works/ed for...sm
It's all about experience and a POSITIVE ATTITUDE, which seems sorely lacking - evidenced by the ongoing bashes on this subject.
On top of that, one company is NOT a good fit for all - therefore, you may have to try and try again before you can find the right fit.
She is totally correct about years of experience. You don't start out riding a bike on the first day, and the same is totally true about MT-ing or any other career. So, buckle down, start learning and use every tool that is at hand for futuristic possibilities of better money.
But if you choose to go to work for TT, please refrain from returning here and complaining that you're not making the same kind of money. The dollar-making ability differs from MT to MT. Some of us have and some of us don't.
Company that uses Word? NM

There is no best company. Only the company that works for you. sm
I work for a company who gets reamed here regularly. BUT, they work well for me except pay wise. There is no best. Yes, there is a worst.. the ones that don't pay. Truly have to make your own decision sometimes. I did.
I was just hired by a company who uses DVI with MS word and I need sm
medical spell check software. Any suggestions?
dialup
Good luck finding something with dialup. Jobs are far and few between. Its seems almost all companies now want high speed, DSL or cable, not satellite. If anyone knows a company that have accounts that can use dialup, please let us know.
Dialup?
Does dialup work to access Bayscribe for MDI-MD? I was curious about that because it's much less expensive than the cable internet.
TIA :D
Company that uses MS word insteadof their platform.
Did a search, did not come up with any. TIA
Does proscript allow dialup? Thanks. nm

Companies with dialup?
My wit's end disappeared, there are no straws to grasp, and yesterday the camel's back broke. Is there a company (besides MQ, Precyse, Spheris) that accept dialup and provide equipment other than a foot pedal? I've searched, contacted buku companies, now I'm asking if anyone out there works for such a place and can give me info?
RE: Companies with dialup
RCTranscription takes people with dial up. http://www.rctrans.info/contact.html
They are a really great company to work for.
Keystrokes and dialup. sm
I had to quit Keystrokes because at the time all I had was dialup and I had to quit working on 2 accounts because they went to high speed. They told me then they had no accounts that would work with dialup. That was in 2007. Now I have wireless broadband.

Asking about dialup, work, jobs, etc. (SM)
If you are looking for a job, please read the job ads on the Job Seeker's board. The ads are very descriptive and have contact information for your convenience.
Otherwise, the Company board is for asking about a specific company (or companies).

MT w/ dialup seeking work
If anyone knows of any companies currently hiring MTs with dialup please email me? I have many years of experience and am seeking work currently. Dialup is all I can get where I am located. It is also all that I can afford right now. Thanks in advance.
But they dont do dialup, Precyse does.

Keystrokes all set to hire me (and I want job) but dialup killed it. I work on DoQuscribe with dialup currently with no problems but Keystrokes said no. Any input or help appreciated. Thanks.

ExText is integrated with Word. Auto correct is a part of Word.
ExText is a Word based platform. When the page opens for you to type the document it will be just like you are typing in MS Word.

Word for Word Medical Transcription
Pros and cons please.
In his ad, he's asking for Word Perfect, not Word, if that matters. nm

The platform is not Word, but it is Word-based. I
had little Word experience and the recruiter told me to try to find a book to learn the basics of Word as their program is Word-based.
Now I wish they would just call me back......no word no word and
What is up with these MT companies that advertise. They don't even answer. I have a great resume, tons of experience. I'm confused.

About to accept...
I've spoken to a couple of current employees who are totally happy with the company, and I'm hoping for a good fit for me, too!
