I find no offense at all with Xmas. If you do your research you will find this is true.

What does Christian have to do with a business? nm
x
They are supposedly a Christian organization
sss
Christian owed Transcription Co.
Is there a Christian-based transcription Company? In speaking with another MT, she mentioned this, but could not remember the name of the company. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS A BUNCH
Christian-based company
The sad thing is, some Christians will use their so called Christianity to make themselves more trustworthy then they are.
Christian MT board, by chance?
I had a link to a site of this nature from a very long time ago. Since I'm looking around I decided to check it out, thinking it's an MTSO, or a listing of several who are faith-based, etc. I signed up for the thing and got a reply asking me if I'm a Christian, if I have experience or not, that type of thing. That's when I realized they must not be an MTSO, but signed up anyway, in hopes of looking for other sources for jobs.
While I approve of their no bashing policy, a couple of my closest friends are Jewish, so I have a great deal of respect for their religion (and of course the fact that Israel is a huge ally of the US).
It didn't dawn on me until I read the post about no Jews here (for that site, not this one). That's not cool. My friends aren't militant, and would just roll their eyes over it. Regardless, I have no idea why they'd do this.
Is this the site discussed here? Maybe there are more of them. ??
Aren't they the ones that claim to be a good Christian
company too? Sounds too much like TranScam to me.
This good Christian company doesn't pay their MTs. nm
All-Write
I am looking for some information on this company. Are they flexible? Plenty of work? Do they require a certain amount of lines per day for full time or part time? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
I write down all the
jobs I do. I am an IC and have to submit an invoice each pay period, so I always compare what they have with what I have to be sure it is correct!
write me
I sent you an E-mail, but in case you don't get it, will post on here as well. I left the Q three years ago and now work for a company I really like. They are small. I've recommended them to people in the past and even though I tell them up front what it pays, some think they are the exception. It pays 7 cents and goes to 8 cents after QA...and stays there, but if you're really interested, let me know. The platform is Emdat/InScribe. Very easy once you learn it. Very frustrating until you do :)
Me and my husband
are both independents. We went to a health savings account. We pay approximately $350 a month with a deductible of $5000. This sounds like a lot - but it was cheaper in the long run, compared to higher monthly premiums. Right now we visit the doctor very infrequently, I am more worried about one of us landing in the hospital as we get older. THAT I want covered.
Then L's husband perhaps?
I thought she owned, maybe her husband but no problem, still love working there.
Yes I will. My husband may be going
up that way in a couple of weeks - I may have him peek in on that company and give me a first impression thought.
Pleeze don't write another one Flo
OMG that is the most stupid thing I have ever seen next to the first one of course!!
Why would you ask here? Write the recruiter and ask her.

All-Write Transcription
I was wondering what you could tell me about All-Write Transcription. Does anyone here work for them? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Sonya
Anybody know anything about or work for Med-Write?...
Looking for any information. Thanks.
All-Write Transcription...anyone?...
Good, bad or ugly? Anyone with any experience with them?
Thanks!
please don't write in all caps

Write One Transcription
Hello all! Writing to ask about a company called Write Now Transcription...anyone works/worked for them, etc? Heard from them today.
Yes and another reason I write
them down is sometimes, they will email me for missing work and I can go back and see when I sent it back to them and get it straightened out. If I had not written it down, I could still find it in the logs on the computer, but it is much easier to just loko at that date on my paper.
This could be your own opportunity to write your
x
Yikes .. right, not write. nm
Interesting. What exactly is it you write?

Have you ever heard of tax write off? sm
Either give it to the government or let employees enjoy it as a write off. More companies should do this sort of thing for bonuses, MT week, Christmas, etc.
If you don't like it, move on and build your own company. When the up and ups in a company does is not really anyone's business but the business owners.
Did you write that post?
Care to share some specifics? I see posts in the archives calling her mean and then your post calling her trash, which is not enough to go on to make a decision. Just sounds to me like disgruntled MTs. Care to share your experience? What was it she did that was so awful?
What does what her husband makes have anything
to do with anything?
My husband is in sales...sm
He is in sales, plus makes an hourly rate. He is considered full-time and the healthcare takes a chunk from his pay, but is well worth it for our family of four with two children under 12 years of age. I'm so glad he gets commission checks once a month. Before this though, I was the breadwinner working a full-time job plus 3-5 extras at home, he was taking care of the kids and working part-time. This arrangement we currently have works out great as I'm home all of the time, but sometimes I do get lonely. I love this message board!
wow, they sure must take a lot out of your husband's check! SM
because with self-employment taxes, etc., it's in the 30+% range!!!! I don't think I have ever known an IC who didn't have to pay taxes. What is your secret???
I have insurance through my husband.
I like being an IC too, but when you have your own accounts, it is tough to take time off. Plus, you have to be really regimented about working. It is very easy to get distracted. When you have doctors counting on you, then you just do what needs to be done and the money rolls in. I have a big problem at this point being told to work set hours and do a set amount of lines or minutes, so I tend to like IC work! True IC work with a company online is hard to find though. Most of these companies want you to COMMIT to certain hours or certain minutes of dictation or certain lines per day, which in my personal opinion is not truly IC work. Just my 2 cents.
My husband was sued for this
by a previous employer (not transcription) after he quit his job and took a job with a competing company with better bennys and $. It was a route/delivery type job. He did sign a non-compete contract, but the judge denied their suite saying the company does not have a right to prevent a person for making a living. It was determined he was working an already established route and was not approaching the first company's clients, and therefore was not in violation. Of course every contract is different, but I can't imagine they can keep you from working.
How much is it for a wife and husband??? nm
Thanks
Same here. My husband wanted to help me out
and encouraged me to try it, but I definitely could type faster.. Just could not stand being so slow...like with my crazy slow dial-up I'm stuck with, drives me NUTS!
My husband is a retired
truck driver. The truck driving industry seems to have gone the way of the MT business. I wish you well though. Sometimes I'm glad I'm old and really don't have to work anymore if I don't want to. Gonna go paint my gourds!!
Please tell me you are kidding about your husband! nm
??
Keep IC job since husband has benefits...nm
nm
Her husband's a big jerk too.
x
I had to leave because my husband
is active-duty Air Force and is leaving for training. We have a three-year-old daughter and cannot afford daycare.
And my husband works
union and we pay no premiums and total coverage. Yeh!
My husband is in sales. He also
It's not just MT. He has to sell 30% more of the product and also his contribution towards health benefits went up $160.00 per month. We are a family of four. There is no forum for flooring retail that I know of, so we just grin and bear it. There is really nothing we can do. This economy is tough. But what I decided to do instead of worrying about the economy is just take a bit more work and work just a bit harder. I was just so elated that they did not lay him off. I guess I tend to look at things a little different. Yes, it is hard on him to convince people to buy when the economy is bad, but somehow, some way, since he's really great at what he does, he's been doing rather well regardless of the paycut and extra putting out. We've managed.
Yes, but who takes the time to write
Gheesh...so ridiculous
Why didn't you just write down "Not enough." nm
:}
Definitely can be an employee and write these things off.
Turbo Tax walks you through and also your tax advisor can assist you.
To write your senator/congressman
I just put in the name of my senators and I got directed to a home page and I could then E-mail him direct. Which I did telling him that if all of our jobs go overseas then no one would be working to pay his salary. They need to start taxing these companies that do this as they are missing out on a lot of FICA and fed taxes, etc. Don't know if it will do any good but I put in my two cents worth for all of you losing your jobs. Also wonder if the price is going DOWN to the clients, that would be interesting to know.
Good luck to all of you.
Do you want to be one? Write to the recruiters who posted
and maybe they will tell you. That kind of information could cost them their job if posted on a public board. Leave them alone.
Correct - I don't want to write a book.
If you want more information, please email me. I can only say what I experienced.
I think what Transcend does is write you a letter
telling you that because you did not make incentive you are considered part-time and no longer eligible for benefits. This is what I have heard. But please talk to your supervisor because this may not be the case. Good luck. I know they are a stickler for making production no matter what the circumstances are.
Well what is in Oldsmar, just the husband and brother?
The website and checks say the Palm Harbor address.
Insurance is no cost at all to my husband
and me thru teamsters, $20.00 copay when going to the doctor, PTO. That is the good part- now the bad- if he should die before me, no insurance for me. Well, since I am 10 years older, will possibly have Medicare before him, who knows??
Oh please, that's a crock. I have savings and husband, but I still
