Yes, they are an excellent company to work for. sm
Plenty of work. More accounts coming on every day. Totally US based. Pay on time every time. Management pretty good (I have not had to deal with them much so no basis to make a really good call.) They do expect you to work your schedule, make your line counts and achieve 98% on all work.
Yep, I am rather sure of that fact that we work for the same company . . .
You are so very wise to get out of the MT field at this time. I would NEVER recommend anyone go into this field now.
Of course, there are still those who like to be home in their PJ's babysitting their kids and will allow their pay to be cut in half by VR.
Definitely NOT a happy camper now.

Speaking only for myself, I am definitely NOT a happy camper now of our company's decisions.
You can ask their recruiter if they offshore. It is a known fact!

The fact that the offshore and lied about it so they
could advertise here and when they were banned, they tried to hide their postings inside other posts and continued to post shows that the ethics don't exist. I wouldn't need any more information than that.
I know for a fact they offshore, what country I don't know.
In an interview a team leader let slip that they offshored and that is was the good stuff that was offshored.
Make everyone admit offshore is a fact. sm
Maybe, if we MTs and MTSOs put it so out there that this is happening, even if the facilities/doctors would prefer to turn their backs and ignore it, they will have to admit it goes on and either contiue using offshore, or pay higher for US MTs. This seems to be the elephant in the room and we need to annouce to everyone there is a pacyderm in the doctor's office.
I tried notifying moderator about the fact they offshore,
but they're still advertising on here, and I don't understand why. They clearly sent a memo to those of us working for them, outlining their pilot program to offshore 50 reports a day.
This IS fact in my world. Have worked for offshore owned
p
They still offshore. I work for a better company
and they don't offshore.
eSkribe claims to be based in Ohio, but is an Indian company
Check out their website at eSkribe.com.
Work for a company that doesn't offshore

excellent company
If you're referring to what's known as TSI, in Decatur, Illinois, yes, they are an EXCELLENT company. Jayne is the owner/operator, and she started this business on her own 25 years ago, when they were still using typewriters. :) Her employees stay a long, long time. She has great benefits and great pay. She wants to provide medical insurance, too, and is looking into that. Currently, there is no insurance, but if you can use your husband's insurance, then Jayne's company is the way to go. :)
TH is a excellent company but seems to run out of
shift to get your required lines.
Excellent Company!
Pay always on time and always accurate payment. My account always had abundance of work, I seldom went into backup. I cannot say enough good about Spheris and especially my supervisor who was the greatest. I miss working very much.
Yes, *most* definitely. They are an EXCELLENT company. They also have DD. nm

Yes, they are an excellent company...sm
Very friendly people. Great Pay. Pay is precise and on time. There benefits are some of the best I've seen for the price. Very easy, easy platform to learn.
I didn't work there long due to a family situation, but wish I was still with them.
I honestly can say only good things about them. Small MTSO.
Now, the part I had trouble with was that I hadn't done ER in a while, so I was having to really study up and get an ear for the ER talk. I had been doing clinic for years. Yes, the dictators are US but speak very, very fast. My hearing is going bad, very bad actually on 1 side, so I just was really, really having to dig samples and play and replay. Just very frustrating to me personally.
Anyway, two thumbs up for this great company. Oh yeah, if you need a lot of hand holding and QA feedback, it wouldn't be a good fit, but if you're a seasoned pro, this would be a great choice.
I know a lady who made $$$ this past year. She is a work-a-holic, though, (Unlike me nod-nod-wink!))
Good luck!
Excellent company
Excellent company to work for. Supportive staff. Emdat platform great. Pay anywhere from 7 to 8 cents per line with spaces depending on experience.
excellent company
been there over a year now, LOVE IT!!! where do I start? great communication, good pay, small company, great people. good, good, good.
They are an excellent company if you are an Indian

I wonder if buying another company could in fact
I wonder if for these employees this could mean a lower premium to pay for health benefits or steady work for the Transcriptionist that runs low each and every day. Sometimes when companies merge it can not necessarily be a bad thing. Transcription is definitely global. I would have to imagine even companies who say they do not offshore are doing it but do not always inform the employees of such. Not every decision that is made on an upper management level is passed down to the employees. You'll find this a lot in institutions and larger companies. That is why companies have CEO's and believe me they are making the decisions so that the company benefits, hence so will the transcriptionists even if you think you're not.
They do not offshore. The owner's original company was bought by MQ; started a new company, whic
That's about all I know. I would give them a try. They sounded good!
No problems for me. In fact, the company sent out an email sm
yesterday asking if anyone wanted a backup account, so I took them up on it. I know how scary slow days can be -- hope it ends for you soon. If you do not have a backup account, maybe you should call and ask for one.
Good luck!
Yes they do send work overseas and do not hide this fact. There is plenty of work and they do pay
well. Overall, I like having work as I have been at places where you had to fight to keep busy so this works for me.
They are an excellent co to work for as QA.
I have no idea why they are still looking, but yes they are a really good co to do QA for as they pay hourly and have benefits.
You don't know what accts I work on so how can you judge whether or not they are excellent? nm
.
I think they do an excellent job of balancing work/employees.( sm)
Call or E-mail your supervisor and let him/her know. Came from MQ myself and I am not worried at all.
I came from MQ doing a main account of 900 plus beds so it was a shock to me to see the backlogs as low as they were on my accounts with Webmedx.
Trying to balance the work flow with employees must be an absolute nightmare. So many variables.
Good luck, call and talk to somebody. These are the nicest people who seem to really value their employees. What a change huh?
It's a well know fact WORK is
being returned to offshore. Mary, you don't know the whole story.

2 of the accts running OT in my group of work ARE EXCELLENT sm
Excellent accounts, low ESL, good work. NOT OVERHIRED. GO AWAY.
As a matter of fact, I'm out of work
right now. It happens everywhere occasionally. Only thing I don't like is, whenever I ask for a backup, I'm told that work is low across the board and to flex. I've seen people on here say, all you have to do is ask and they give you a backup account. Hasn't happened for me.
They post because someone WILL in fact go to work for them -
Sad but true.
It's no rumor there is not enough work. That is a fact.
Yea, you left out the fact that nobody is forcing you to work where you do...find a better job if

Transtech DID have a service help out with their work -- I know for a fact -- about a year ago.
How long have you been with TT? Anyone in mgmt will tell you that they outsourced work to another service in the past.
I love it there...best place I have worked...plenty of work, pay on time, excellent communication...
wonderful supervisors...who could ask for more?
Does the company offshore? nm

Ummm, I work outside my comfort zone, in fact, do all worktypes on 2
both speech and traditional, and I don't have any work, either.
They are an offshore company with a front in the US.
Not that company anymore, but yes they do offshore sm
They currently offshore to a company that starts with a D in India. They don't lie about it though, it says right on their website that facilities have the choice and it is the facilities not wanting to pay as much that drove the offshore movement. All of the QA is done domestically though - used to QA it and they did okay, but they still always have plenty of clients not allowing offshore so their is still job security with them. I'm on my own now, but I don't think anything has changed lately since I left last year.
American company - They do not offshore
And probably as stable as anything can be these days. They are strictly U.S. Good pay. Let you set your own schedule and there is plenty of work. That doesn't mean their clients will not offshore for a cheaper rate at any given time. Paid training, earn 2 weeks PTO first year, direct deposit, and benefits. Platform is awful but the way they establish templates makes it worth it. QA is great. They encourage you to send reports. I read awful things about them, but found that not to be true at all. They are a very small company (150 MTs) so you can not expect an HR Department or complete organization but the work is steady and I have found them to be supportive. Three tier pay by skill level.
Insurance claims
Did anybody else receive their check from Medscribe NJ for the insurance claim typing yet?
ETP going to offshore methinks. Consulting company
