People can believe what they want to believe. I am glad that there are some employees who are treated well by OSi. They do not necessarily have to be butt kissers. I still have some friends that work there and they are not that way. OSi's problems go WAY beyond the mismanaged QA dept. The whole company is run poorly, which is a damn shame. I wonder if Peggy Doyle, one of the owners, knows half of what is going on with her company. I hear she is a very nice lady. If this continues, sooner or later OSi will be run into the ground, period. There is a finite amount of medical transcriptionists, and those that are not treated well and decide to leave will leave. Sooner or later they will run out of the transcription "pool" if they continue to lose people at the rate they are, even if they do have a mentoring program for newbies.
When I joined OSi, I was so excited and had such high hopes, only for them to be dashed. It took over a month from the time I got my acceptance letter for them to get my paperwork together so I could actually start. It just went downhill from there. One hand does not know what the other hand is doing. There are also too many chiefs and not enough Indians when it comes to the QA dept and management. I actually had acct specifics saying one thing, and 1 person in QA telling me the acct specifics were wrong, and then it was an act of Congress to get it changed on the acct specifics. Again, that is just 1 example of many things. But you don't have to believe me, and if you have a good experience working for OSi, great, more power to you, and I sincerely hope you continue to have a good experience with them. However, I do feel strongly that if people so wish to know about other's experiences, they have the right to be expressed without being attacked, which I was.
As for UMMMM, have you noticed she stirred up all this trouble and is now not to be found?
