Uninstall Vista myself, then install XP, but that the XP just wouldn't have a warranty since it wasn't factory installed.

Are there any companies left that let you transcribe right into Microsoft Word, or do they all have their own rediculous platforms?

I use the Microsoft wireless 4000 comfort keyboard
and had no trouble switching to it from my split keyboard.  It is curved, so has a similar feel.  I love being wireless.  I use it with my laptop and work on it all day.  I think I've been working wireless for about 2 years now and couldn't go back.  I work with my keyboard in my lap, so the wireless is great.

No special software. Just copy and paste the report you typed to Microsoft Word on your
computer. Under the Tools menu, select Word Count. Characters are listed with or without spaces. Take the total of either and divide by 65 to get your line count. Then match that with what your company is giving you for a line count.

If you don't have Microsoft Word, then you can download a free trial of Abacus line counting software from the internet.
