And take your pick. They are all over the country. We have a couple of their hospitals and med centers in our town. They are in Muskegon and along the west side of Michigan, they are in Ohio, Tennessee, etc. In my former life as a medical biller, I worked for their Collections Center in my town also.
Mercy Health Partners is a conglomerate of
hospitals and clinics that are all over the country and not an MTSO.

All I can find in archives about Mediscript is sm

Does anyone out there have any info about Mediscript? I know they pay by the gross line, but how much? Do they offer direct deposit? When are the pay days? How's the platform? Any info appreciated. I'd like to gather some information first before I take any tests or talk to them so I can determine if it's worth going through all that for a job that might not be a fit for me.

If you read the archives you should find what you are looking for, although
you won't find much good about them.
If you read the archives you won't find much
good about them. They switch you from account to account. They have had management problems for many years. Their line counting is difficult to figure out and they dock you for lots of things. They also offshore and are currently training women in Trinidad and somewhere else so you know what that means. Some of their accounts are teaching hospital and I worked on one of them and the dictation quality was horrendous. If you're a newbie I doubt they'd put you on it though.
There are worse companies out there, but I still wouldn't recommend TRS.

posts regarding problems with getting paid. They don't pay that well to start with. I have 20 years of experience and they offered me 8 cpl. I don't know anything else about them, but the payment issue would be enough for me to stay away.

They are also on the web as MedScript Services, Inc. I think that they're based in Naples, Florida. I also believe that they use a platform called INSCRIBE. Any comments on the software or company?

Well, mercy goodness, don't have a spell.
If you re-read your post, I think you'll see that it didn't sound quite like you say you meant it. My personal experience is that Transtech doesn't play favoritism in any way. Yes, they ask me when I went to work for them 5 years ago which work types I preferred and yes, when I got a back up they asked me the same thing. So I don't assume there was anything special about your treatment or mine, just how they treat everyone but Sister, you don't clean up a thing behind me and I hope I'm not having to clean up behind you.
Yes, IMHO TransTech is as good a placed as an MT is likely to find to work for these days and I fail to see what all the *itching is about. On the other hand I have a very hard time believing anyone makes their required line count the first day. I'm not saying it's impossible but I've been around the block a time or two and I've never seen anyone, including myself, who could do that. In a week or so yes, but not the first day. If you've racked up 42,000 lines for this month, I say good for you but not everyone can do that. I could but I simply do not want to anymore. Can't speak for everyone else but I don't have a jealous bone in me and most people think I'm a pretty nice person. There are just a few things that get under my skin and I might add that calling people jealous, rude, nasty because they differ in their opinions from yours is one of those things. With those adjectives attached to the people on this forum, you ought to try the other one, you know the unmonitored one. I post there and have for years. If you go over there and post the same post you made here they will eat you for lunch. LOL
Anyhow, welcome to TransTech, we may even work on the same accounts, who knows. But you can rest easy, you'll never be cleaning up behind TT112, you can ask them in the office if you don't want to take my word for it.
Mercy, of course filling in blanks is ok BUT
not 30, 40, 50 or 60 blanks in EVERY report from the SAME LAZY/UNTRAINED MTs. Don't criticize QAs who have a problem doing this baloney. One company I used to work for NEVER did audits and what they got was swiss cheese reports from people who didn't care, and I was simply wondering who the companies are who don't put up with that now since I've been away a few years. Thank you.
