Any info on Mediscript, unsure where they are located, just took a test from them. Checked archives and found very little, any info would be appreciated.

do not know which Mediscript, just took their test, and that is what it said at the top of the test. Anything about the company, is it a honest reputable company that treats his MTs good? I guess if you do not know which Mediscript, you will not be able to answer my question. Can you tell me this, it is a national?

I checked the archives and did not find any information that was helpful, what do you know or tell me how to find out.

They offered me 9 cents per gross line. They do not offer direct deposit, you invoice on the 15 and 30, unsure when you get paid, I think 20 days after you invoice. The platform is WP 7 or higher. I took their test, passed it, was hired, but was unable to get any help with start up. They sent me a packet of instructions and said to go for it. I am not computer savy, so this did not work for me, it might for you though. Gross line pay is the best in the business, I think it would be worth giving it a try. Just my opinion.

I work for Mediscript and could not be happier. They leave you alone as long as you do what you commit to them for. The only downfall is a C-phone, but for the pay I can over look that!!!!

All I can find in archives about Mediscript is sm
"Bad news!" and nothing else. That doesn't tell me or anyone else anything useful. I don't care if someone says "bad news!" but could they please back it up with some real info? Preferably first-hand experiences would be nice, thank you.
Does anyone out there have any info about Mediscript? I know they pay by the gross line, but how much? Do they offer direct deposit? When are the pay days? How's the platform? Any info appreciated. I'd like to gather some information first before I take any tests or talk to them so I can determine if it's worth going through all that for a job that might not be a fit for me.

I need some input from anyone working for AccuStat. I started with them on Monday. Today is Thursday. Not much work given to me so far. My work is top quality, so that's not the issue. I'm getting nervous. So far I have made enough money to buy McDonald's lunch (well, maybe dinner too). Do they run out of work often? Help!!! I need some input.

I only know about AccuSTAT in Wisconsin, but
you can check the archives. It is a small MTSO with good accounts and good dictators, but they only hire IC status and I needed benefits. The pay was always on time and for headers and spaces.

I have been working for this company for 6 months as an IC (editor and MT). The owner is great to work and pay is always on time. The dictators I get are like dreams. Having to have a C-phone can be a bit of an obstacle, but luckily for me I am an oldie and so I have one. Great work, straight typing and you are actually paid for what you do. I know there are so many questions about different companies and I wanted to give my opinion on this one.

I didn't ask about Medscribe, I asked about Mediscript in FLA. No direct deposit w/this co.
If it is the company in Wisconsin, you will have trouble with pay.
They pay late frequently; they short paychecks; they don't know how to use direct deposit and will "wire" your pay and you have to pay a wire transfer fee at your bank; look in the archives. They are also EXTREMELY unorganized and unprofessional. Nothing good here.

Funny thing. This is just a part time job. I work as QA and still transcribe as well. Today, I realized that the part time job I decided to take for Christmas of 2007 has continued for 10 full months and I have absolutely no desire to leave. Great people, great work! I hope everyone can find a company like them!

Some friends of mine went to On-Point which is fairly new. But I heard there are problems like being understaffed and payroll not being met.

Hey fellow MTs - I got an immediate response from AccuStat (WI) when I replied to one of their ads. I did some research on the company before I told them I was interested. My reply email was 12 hours after they sent me theirs. Now I haven't heard from them. I wonder if I waited too long to respond. I was actually trying to decide between 2 companies and guess I took too long. Haven't heard back from either one of them.
The job searching and not knowing what's behind door #3 is the almost the worst part of this profession.
Thank goodness for this board! I have made many, many a career decision based partly and sometimes entirely on these comments. TY!
