Last I knew, there was only a handful amount of people who still work for them. Most of them on the last straw with them. Communication was worse than ever and the don't even pay their people.... big surprise there. Couple of MTs still waiting for there last few paychecks.

I started on the apprentice program in Jun, with no experience. Through the excellent QA and correction process they have, I have greatly improved my % and have been given an increase in pay. I was not paid on time when I first started out because of the problems in the company not getting paid as stated in other posts. I have now been paid in full for the work I have done there, just as they promised. The work load is consistent and VERY plentiful! I feel respected and part of a team. I will NOT be looking for another company any time soon! Good luck to you. Hopefully, you will be able to find the perfect fit as I have.

I received an offer for an MT/Quality Asessor job with these guys, and a couple things about it sort of seem odd. Firstly, I've never spoken to anyone there, never had a phone interview or anything, just filled out the online application and took the test and boom, job offer. Is this common? I've only worked for one company from home, and I had a phone interview with them, so I could be just inexperienced with how many companies hire their people. Secondly, am I understanding the offer correctly? There's an evaluation period where I don't get paid for the work I do???

I work for CorT and love it!
Have been working with them for about 6 months now. There have also been good posts about this company. It's amazing how people forget the good. They are great people to work for. They have had problems in the past with pay, but that has been resolved. I've had no pay problems since then. They have consistent work. The owners actually care about the people that work for them. I will not be looking elsewhere for a place to work!
It's more than what Cort Medical was offering at first. Is anyone still with them? nm

Why do my posts keep getting deleted?
If you are going to delete them, could you at least let me know? I truly don't understand why you are deleting them. I asked a simple question about what companies pay on a weekly basis. Is there something wrong with that? I assume thye were not moved because I can't find it anywhere and I posted it twice. How about an explanation or something?

Several posts have been deleted mainly due to the naming of individuals at companies. DO NOT USE IDENTIFYING INFORMATION such as names or accounts.
As well, language was the cause for a post removed. See the posting policy at the top of the Company board.

They were NOT talking about the resumes being fake. Some earlier posts had said they would post some names of applicants for you to ask them what the name of their company was because they weren't revealing their identity. They did list a few names but the post containing the names was soon deleted. So, they were weren't meaning the resumes were fake, they meant that they had listed fake names.
Posts about them usually get deleted, but I'll
post my experience. They represented companies that already post on all the job boards. The line rate was not any better, no better benefits, shifts, etc. going through TM than if I had applied myself. I know this because I had already been offered a job twice by the company that they wanted me to test for. You have to go through an interview and testing (although the test is really a joke) and then go through it again with whatever company, so I see no advantage of going through TM.
Has anyone else noticed posts being deleted?
I first came to the company board, read the first post, went to the job seekers board, came back to the company board and the first post that I had read was gone ... POOF. It was just a question about a company, not anything ugly at all. Anyone else noticing this recently?

I posted that you give what you get. If you give half wages for full editing of very few clear dictators on slow VR with no expander, bad sound quality, and technical problems you're going to get what you give. MTs who aren't high producers will follow along like docile sheep.The high producing, skilled MTs will move on. VR allows shoddy work that was never acceptable when coming from MTs. The new generation of MTs have accepted that this is the future and aren't accustomed to the strict professionalism of the past. That's just what the MTSO is going to get.

All I asked was if there is a company out there with a platform like Precyse - where you can look up the old reports by doctor, or by patient. What is so wrong with that?

You cannot rely on honest referrals on this board, especially the archives. They are edited and deleted forever. Just as the negative posts on the Transcend forum "magically" disappear once discovered...Don't be so naive, unless you're the one "editing"!
Softscript has a very poor reputation. Search the archives and you will see negative info going way

It's always good to know what you're getting into before it's too late. There are companies out there that are not even mentioned on this board and those are the ones to work for!

I would have to assume it is because Davis supports mtstars although Davis has never advertised for employment here. They use the 'other' MT job site.
Pay has never been on a timely schedule and comes late no matter what is said differently. There have been many instances of bounced checks. Because of that and problems being able to have work every day, I left there. The pay scale was just re-vamped so I don't know what kind of money can be made. That'll have to be answered by someone else. Maybe with the new payscale payment will be able to be made on a regular, timely schedule.
Things are always changing so who knows? Maybe it would be a good fit. Good luck.
