No Offense Intended at All!
I'm sorry if you read something into my question that was offensive to you, but it was not meant that way at all, I assure you! I only asked how you knew because as Ire stated in my followup email, no one seems to read these or answer them that has ever worked at AccuPro. And I asssure you, the only reason I am inquiring is because I was considering applying for the Hem/Onc position they are advertising for, but my 15+ years experience in Hem/Onc is all clinic, thus my earlier question to anyone who could answer...do they do hospital or clinic work or both. I'm just a bit concerned about applying when so little is known about them, but I do very much appreciate the info you gave me and in no way do I question or wonder whether it is true or not! I give everyone here the benefit of the doubt and assume if they post an answer they are stating what they know to the best of their ability. I was just hoping maybe you might actually know a real person who had worked there since none seem to come forth on this board to answer any questions, which I do find very strange in light of all the MTs that read and post here. I thank you again for your information!

re VR vs less cents (pun intended)
if these sup's/bosses are so sure that we can be more productive doing VR, how about putting us on an hourly wage and/or salary while we do VR then? That way, nobody loses $....even for a 3-6 month trial period. If we become more productive, THEN go back to a cpl.
ha! No offense intended, Paco

Sounds to me like she intended on sending you sm
paperwork via snail mail that require your signature (confidentiality statement, etc.) Sounds like you're in!
Good luck to you.
I think my comment got made into more than I intended - sm
Maybe raised was the wrong word. What I was trying to convey was the point that possibly this mom should consider doing MT until her wee ones are old enough to go to school, so that she isn't paying the cost of daycare while she goes back to nursing school; night school (as someone else pointed out) is a great option. She could be with her kids and better herself for the future.
I'm all for working moms but do feel strongly that if your kids are under school-age, you should consider working from home to provide their care. I personally think it is better for children to have a parent in the home when they are very young.
But that's my personal opinion - and no, I wasn't raised in the '50s.
