And 16 to me is low but as a brand new QA may be fair. I think all very experienced QA people should be making much more than that. These companies need to start acknowledging this skill and expertise and pay accordingly. And QA people need to stop accepting these very low clerk-type wages. Otherwise they are basically doing to QA what India did to MTing.
