Love this company, love my boss, very informative QA.nm.

A company is ONLY supposed to verify that someone worked there, what dates they worked, whether PT o
and last date worked. It opens everyone up to a lawsuit if more is given, so most companies are told by their attorneys and business advisors to verify only.
No one has a right to a reference, only verification of employment.
I have worked there for about 2-1/2 years and love it. sm
I had a problem a few months ago waiting for an ID for a new account when I asked for a change. I am glad that they kept me on my original account during the wait because it took over 3 weeks. I was told that the hospitals can take a while but the wait was worth it as I am on the best radiology account I have ever been on. I have never run out of work and get paid both well and on time, so I am happy.
It is worth the wait.
Worked at MW for over 1.5 years and love it!
Email me for more info. :)
For the love of Pete -- She worked
for Transtech. See the post near the bottom of the page by Happy Clam. It's all there.
I wouldn't have remembered but for the fact that I never knew gourd painting was that popular. Have fun Gourd Painter!
I love Transcend. I've worked for MANY
x
I love it there...best place I have worked...plenty of work, pay on time, excellent communication...
wonderful supervisors...who could ask for more?
Love this company - want to retire with this company...sm
Been with them for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love them. I make my living with them - I don't do this for fun money. I think the dictators are pretty decent - you will always have your good and bad ones. You just have to get used to them. I love the account I am on - been with the same one since I started. They are a VERY fair company to work for.
I love this company
I've been with them since last June and went with them full-time as an MT in September. (Left a supervisory job with another company). Insurance is very good and much better (and cheaper) than my last job. I NEVER have had any problems with No Work except at the usual times like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm on a hospital account, so maybe that's why (as opposed to a clinic-type account).
Me too - I love it AND the company
nm
Yes, same company. I love MDI-FL
It is always very busy. I am happyw with the company
Hard to find a company these days that does not offshore at least some of their work.
I love this company.
I love this company. No pools, assigned accts. Best support I have had experience with, easy, productive platform. Paid training. Not the highest payer but fast platorm and can use Expanders extensively. Benefits for full time.
The company I love
I love MDI! Great company--wonderful liaison, superb tech support, kind and intelligent QA, no offshoring, respect and decency. They are highly selective in hiring, but if you can get on, you will be happy!
QT!!! QT!!! GREAT COMPANY!! LOVE IT!!!
NM
I would love to know which company. You may email me if you wish. sm
Email above. Thanks.
I love the company - it's great.
Pay is on time, nice people.
I'm not bitter at all. And I love my company and my
job. Just made an objective commentary on how all the cheerleading for this company can strike some as cautionary. And your overreaction still confirms to me that something is fishy with these posts... That does not equate to bitterness, but rather, wisdom...And I never said I believe negative posters but not positives - you're reading a lot more into my simple statement.
I wouldn't say I LOVE my company
but I am satisfied at this point because I am not running out of work, the platform I am on is easy and counts fairly and the dictators are about what you find everywhere -- some hard to nearly impossible, some easy, mostly middle of the road to good. My pay per line is VERY low for my experience (18 years) but if I stay focused I make a good hourly wage. QA is very hands-off, but accessible if they are needed. Did I mention that I don't run out of work? I have to realize that times have changed and I may never make $30-50 an hour again. My company is stable, but they off-shore. One more thing -- I don't run out of work. :) Feel free to e-mail.
No not badmouthing company at all -love KS
Just something been going on for just a few days. I thought maybe somebody else out there could shed some light. I work nights so when I have work coming in that was dictated that morning not done and it skips around, thats kinda strange. I dunno maybe somebody assigning at the facility is what I suspect to get those short and horrible dictators out of the way. Really hurting my line count though. Will definitely talk to the lead if it doesn't stop.
would love to know what company you work for now
nm
I love the company too. I have a different primary
account that has been running low, but just when I think I might need a backup account, the primary kicks back in. I think these smaller companies are the way to go these days.
Do any of you love the company you work for?
Please let me know if you work for a great place and why you like them. I currently work for Medware and I'm unhappy. I have applied at Axolotl, Webmedx, Encompass, SoftScript, eTransPlus, ATSI. Do you know anything about these companies?
Any advice is appreciated! :)
Are you saying your misery would love company (LOL)?-nm
.
Love, love, love TransTech! Not overhiring, just growing like crazy!
x
I love the one where the MT was bashing a company for not contacting her..
Love my platform...hate the company
I currently work for DSG and love DocQscribe.
I just love this company! I have only great things to say
about them. Pay on time, very nice and helpful people, excellent company!
I have used it for the past 2 years through another company and love it!! nm

I just went broke because of a company and would love to share their name
www.ripoffreport.com
We take a job expecting some semblance of constancy. We are not teenagers living at home.
And I have yet to meet an MT who does this for free, as a hobby, 40 hours a week.
Here we are, in the U.S., where insurance is expensive, the economy is mutilated and dirt cheap labor is just across the deep blue sea.
Some whine more than others but this Gourdpainter, I have been reading her for a long time, and from the tone of her posts, she is not a (an?) habitual complainer. She is helpful and considerate in her posts to new MTs and others who have a question.
United we Stand, Divided we Fall.
Just like the coal miners back in Pennsylvania, the company will let you eat coal dust all day long to save themselves the cost of ventilation, and then fight to not have to pay for the medical costs of an aging coal miner with black lung and ashen colored skin. No one made him go down there, I know, I know, but a man has got to feed his family. Work is work, you take what your skills will get you.
Fair enough - Some huge corporation is going to sue someone over a thread on the internet. This is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Have you read message forums elsewhere on here? There are disparaging remarks made about everything under the sun.
Word of mouth travels far and wide, and so does the truth.
So give us a break and let us make enough money to live a respectable life in this job which we do with steadfast dedication if we make it over 3 years.
Kindness reaps kindness. Consideration for the MT - For instance:
Supervisor: Gee Susie, work load is light these days, and your paycheck reflects that. How are you doing? Are you able to make ends meet? How can we remedy this in house or outside of this company so you can have an income you can rely on?
MT: Thank you. I would appreciate that very much. I am down to a few nickels after I pay the bills and am beside myself with worry. The anxiety sends me to MTstars where I vent in hopes of finding others who understand the DREAD AND FEAR I AM EXPERIENCING because I WORK ALONE ALL DAY LONG,without my comrades to take breaks with or have lunch with WHERE THIS TYPE OF VERBAL EXCHANGE WOULD ORDINARILY TAKE PLACE.
Best company I have ever worked for, and I have worked for a lot!
I can't believe some of the things these people say here, and have to wonder if it just the same person or two bashing. I have been at MDI for four years and I do not have a low workload and I get treated very, very well.
Why not call them and ask? I've been with them for 2 years and love it. Best company
I have ever worked for. There is always plenty of work, pay is decent and on time, and best of all I am treated well. They offer all kinds of bonuses, continuing education pay, vacation pay, reasonable insurance through Aetna, life insurance. Am I getting rich off this? No. Am I paid reasonably well? Yes. Would I recommend Transtech? Absolutely!
I love the company I work for and I just wanted to share
that with you all so that if you are not happy, realize there is hope out there. I worked for Healthscribe/Spheris for over 2 years until I found this position. I am a SE for MDI out of Maryland and I make 10 cents per 65 character line including spaces. This is a great smaller company that does not offshore. I am left alone to do my work but I have somebody there if I need any questions answered, etc. QA is wonderful too. They didn't dump me into an account full time, they let you ease into your account over a 2 week period doing 5 reports a day so you can work your other job until you are taken off of QA. I was off QA in a week. My account is great, the platform is great (Bayscribe), production Expander is user friendly. For all you unhappy MTs, there is hope out there.
Glad you love your company. Hope you stay there - LOL

I would love to get a card from my company...and a holiday incentive...
Sounds like you have it pretty good. I didn't get squat from my company, and there are times when I do not even get a paycheck on time. If your company is making a profit and able to pay you on time and offer an incentive, and is not owned by some private equity firm that may go under -- you are very lucky.
In retrospect, I shouldn't have named my company because truly I do love working for them and sho
assume this was just a payroll error. So, that's what I'm thinking until I know better. If I did lose my insurance without any notice, then I would not be a very happy camper and would do what I needed to do. But, in the meantime, they have been great to work for...
I love the company -- great people, good tech support, sm
good benefits. The pay could be more, but at least there is a production incentive tier that is not too tough to achieve. Overall, I would say this is probably one of the best places I have ever worked. If the no work situation continues, I guess I will just have to call them and ask for a secondary. Everyone in the office has always been very helpful and supportive. I just get nervous when it is not a holiday or anything and no files are available. That is just my little thing, I guess. I still would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.
Hope this helps.
GOOD GRIEF -Love my company/account, Hate MedRite! Any help?
I love the company I work for, pay, schedule, account. It has it all. But they use MedRite. This is awful! Was this actually designed for an MT? This is complicated, SO much mouse-clicking, and so SLOOOW - I am boring myself to sleep. Typing is easy and quick but moving from report to report - Good Grief! Is there anyone who has used this? Are there any tips you could give me?
I think it is. He worked for my company
and this is the name he went by. Might not be his birth name, but isn't just an internet moniker.
How do you know? Have you worked there? Maybe the company
just expects their MTs to do their job. Ever think of that?
I ask because I have worked for the same company
for 15+ years, and I don't like the way they are conducting their business right now. So, I ask. I think, like everything, you can take it with a grain of salt, BUT when you see a consistent complaint, then there is cause for alarm.
I also want to know if a company pays fairly, keeps their word with regard to what is offered, if they have a high number of ESL doctors on their accounts, what type of transcription platform they use and is it easy to learn, and how quickly and accurately QA answers questions.
Those are not things that can be observed from an ad for employment and instead come from the people who work for a company or have worked for a company.
If this is the only company you have worked for then you don't know
there is any better out there. I don't mean this to be ugly, but if you only have one year of experience you aren't qualified to be an editor, I don't care how good of an MT you are. It just isn't enough experience and speaks tons for the quality of work that is produced. Since I was also in QA I know the kind of work that is produced. I've been in the business nearly 20 years and I'm still learning.
I was actually offered a management position with SS after working for them for only 4 days, so obviously I'm good at what I do and they had no complaints with me. Everything I said is/was true.
They were the best company I ever worked for (sm)
I left because I needed benefits of an employee position. However, they were the nicest QA. They left you alone. They didn't have the nonsense I've dealt with at Webmedx. I would have loved to have stayed with them if I could have afforded to. If you get your benefits from someplace else, they're really worth it.
What others are saying about having a hard time getting hired on is absolutely true, however. They don't have a dedicated recruiter, but instead have an owner who is wearing many hats including that of recruiter. I had to message her several times, call multiple times, and really pursue it to get hired on. I was persistent, and later I was glad that I had been.
I haven't been with them for many months now. They were a bit behind with technology, but not the worst. Being able to work whenever you want is definitely a huge plus.
I would highly recommend them still. Just know you've got to be persistent to the extreme to ever get past the resume/interview/email stage.
Anyone who has worked for more than one company can
tell you that every one of them - the good ones and the bad ones - have slow periods. Hence the concept of backup accounts. My backup account is actually p.r.n. with another company, and it works perfectly for me.
With every company I have worked for
you most certainly need the speed of DSL or cable to be able to do the work. I have DSL and mine still goes slow sometimes. There is no way it would work with simple dial up.
It's not the companies' fault that you do not have access to DSL or cable. I know some companies do not allow satellite, but there are many others that do so I would seriously look into that.
I worked for a company that had both
union electricians and pipefitters. I did the payroll so I know what dues were. Their dues way back then were steep. If the union called for a strike the union did pay them for a certain amount of weeks, but not at full salary and if the strike went longer they were SOL.
I know many people in unions who don't want to be in them, but due to their occupation have no choice. In theory unions are a good thing, in reality not so much.
If an organization like the former AAMT would have fought for us that would have made a difference. Where does all the money go they get in dues each year? It doesn't benefit me in any way, shape, or form. They should us out.
I never worked for company, so was not SM
my bad experience. This person is a recruiter for Webmedx. She used to be recruiter for Spheris and she lies. I have never worked for Webmedx.
I have never worked for a company that
started one out on easy dictators. They have limited work-type, but not the dictators. They have given samples of any hard ones. If you are getting that many ESLs, then that is what they are getting also. Can't learn them if you don't actually do them.
I worked for a company
for eight years that finally decided to outsource to India, and when they did they decided to cut all their American transcriptionists pay to 5 cents per line.
5 CENTS PER LINE???? Shoot, I didn't even start at that fresh out of school. It's just ridiculous. The more ridiculous part is that some people actually stayed.
Who said I worked for that company?
Never did, imagination working overtime.
I worked for a company....
for 8 years and NEVER got a raise! I even asked once and was told We don't give raises, you have to raise your production to get paid more. Okay, so after 8 years on one job I am quite certain I've figured out all of the nooks and crannies, not gonna find a quicker way to type and I type fast already, so basically I NEVER get a raise! I have heard of other companies that never get raises either, so just be thankful you got one:)
KS has been the best company I have worked for sm
thus far! The people there are great and sure there are slow times! Learn a different account. There is always a learning curve on any account one may get, hang in there!
