I know we have been hiring in anticipation and probably some of the new employees are working on current accounts until everything is on line.  At least this has what I have ran into at other companies.  They have to be trained and ready and I anticipated our backlogs might be a little low as we share.  Today I have been out of work most of the morning which is EXTREMELY RARE, however it is a perfect day to play outside so I will go out and pot up some things and wait till the work load builds up a little more. 

Sorry if this kind of rambled on.  Welcome to new employees, I am certainly not complaining or accusing them of taking work away from the rest of us.  Just wondering when the new accounts are coming on and if we will be given opportunity to switch or try out the new ones.

It sounds like you need to learn your weaknesses and go from there.  Slow down.  Concentrate.  Dedicate some time to your efforts until they come naturally to you.  Like the previous post said, spend a couple of days thinking, crying, down in the dumps, and then emerge a new person with a mission!  Don't let something like this hold you back if you truly think you can do it and you want to do it.  And remember, better a low line count with 100% accuracy than a big line count with too many mistakes.  Concentrate on doing perfect reports and the rest will come later.

So, yes, let me clarify before everyone gets in an uproar.. There is work IF you want to use a C-phone. IF you signed up for an account that is internet-based, you will be disappointed. Not enough work to go around. Just my personal preference.. I have no desire to do a dial-up C-phone account using my long distance.

I've got about the same amount of experience as you have.  I know what you mean about working at home and trying to take care of yourself, too, sometimes hard to balance everything, but for right now, even though I miss the social aspects at times, think this is what I still need for right now.  Just need to a 'little'  more exercise time somewhere, or in other words make it a priority!! to fit it in.  Thanks for the encouragement!  Good luck to you

Where are they located?

I received an offer today which I accepted of course and happy that I did after reading so much positive feedback in the forums about them. 

I had planned on borrowing a Lanier LX-219 from a friend of mine to work on their account (a must) but I know I'll be staying put with them a long time so want to purchase my own...I read in a previous post that you can rent a c-phone to own from them; does anyone know if they will rent the Lanier unit also?  Just wondering...

I will be working on one of their clinic accounts, going from Basic 4.  Anyone else work on their clinics and can provide some feedback?  

Any idea on how long the acceptance of offer to actually transcribing peroid will be; I've read it can be lengthy...I need to work right away, believe me.  Lastly, any new info on the health insurance?  Any feedback will be appreciated.
