I am just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with Terra Nova Transcription company.  I searched archives, but not much there.  I am interested in an editing position.  Does anyone know if they pay hourly (if so, any idea how much) or if they pay production (again, starting line rate)?  I would like to hear from any current Terra Nova MTs or editors before applying, as I just hate when you go through the entire process only to find out the pay stinks.  A lot of recruiters are not willing to give you any pay information up front without seeing skills (which I somewhat understand), but still hate to waste their time or mine!  Thank you so much in advance!  I would really appreciate it! 

Anyone recently hired and working on the cardiology account at Terra Nova as a full-time employee?

Terra Nova out of Alabama.  Any opinions.  Anyone work there?  Thank you.

I was going to apply before I saw that they require XP Pro which I don't have.

I heard Terra Nova Transcription are hiring a bunch of new MT's so, I put in my resume. I did the test files and they came back with a really good offer. Has anyone heard of Terra Nova Transcription, and if so, can you please give me any feedback? I'd like to hear some opinions before I make my decision. I believe their company is based somewhere in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada.

Hello June ( I don't know what happened to your post, it is no longer there),

I applied by sending my resume to information@terranovatrans.com. I then got a response from one of their HR staff. I do have some good news though, I was speaking to a friend of mine (who is also an MT) who knows somebody that works at Terra Nova and they love it there. So, I think I'm going to accept the offer!

Is there any more feedback?

located in Canada, I think.  I did a search and came up with some reviews, most older, a few more recent, but just wondered if anyone here currently working there who could give me the scoop on platform, ease of demographics, pay estimate, management style, etc.? anything welcome, good or bad... Do they accept only full-time employee or will they take IC part time?  TIA

I'm posting on this board and will also post on the main board.  But those of you who have been ripped off by Jayne Mattingly from TSI (Illinois) may have received an email stating she would send us the contact info of her 'partner' who 'seized' the acct.  Well, don't bother calling the phone number of the 'partner' as it has been disconnected.  Weird huh.  Also, it's not a partner..its her attorney who is just going to fool around some more and never pay us.  You could email her and ask for the correct one, but good luck with that.  I saw a post about contacting the attorney general (yeah, apparently other people dont get paid) and I plan on looking into that more and will let you know what i find out.  Also, if you are interested the local newspaper is Herald and Review.  Might be an interesting story for them....would love to read the story Local Businesswoman Pockets $1,000s from a Government Contract and Never Paid the People Doing the Work  I sent a quick note...would probably help if others did.
