They use several types of platforms: Arrendale, C-phone and Vianeta. I think they also have recently added a BayScribe account. I use Vianeta and I am very comfortable with it. The sound quality is very clear. As for their accounts, they expect you to cross-train on 3 accounts over time. Some are a piece of cake, others challenging and interesting (large teaching Hospital) and one I have is a Jekyll and Hyde acct...morphs into your worst nightmare when all the ESLs show up at the same time. They will bait and switch on you after a while...especially if you are good at difficult dictation or ESL dictators. It may take a day or two to get support but they are good about providing sample reports, normals and acct profiles. They have a few dictators that no matter how many samples you have, how much support you can muster or how much practice you get, STILL you cannot understand a single word. I spent many long hours cross training and much effort in pumping up line counts on two accounts which ultimately they handed off to other (new) transcriptionists...including my primary account. I ended up with most of my access being to the Jekyll and Hyde account...so after three years, I'm out there shopping around again. Hope you find this helpful. JLG is not for the faint but they are a nice bunch of people overall.
