I have worked with AccuStat many years now and they always pay as soon as the client pays the invoice. If you are going to complain, become an employee instead of an IC. It's so nice that you put something negative about a good company without the explanation behind it!! Read the laws on paying ICs!!!
Again to all, the company is a good company; been with them 6 years and they pay always!!!

I can speak for AccuSTAT Wisconsin. It's not affiliated to any other AccuSTAT.
I've been with AccuSTAT Wisconsin now for 9 years and I wouldn't work anywhere else. The work is acute care (basic 4), mostly ops and ER work. The work is done thru C-phone or VXP software.

Hey there...do not worry about AccuStat not paying.....I can tell you that me and MANY of my coworkers love that company....they are great to work with....honestly!!! Do not believe all you hear.

Has anyone applied at AccuStat and received the test? I think 30 minutes of dictation is kind of a long test to take. Is there anyone else who feels the same? Does anyone have information on this company in regards to timely pay? I would not want to take what could turn into a 3-hour test if they are not a good company. TIA for any info...

Pay is good from them. They do not test so the pay is lower to start but stick with them and it comes up...fast!!

Well AccuStat carolinas is who I work with and I have been doing great with them. They are offering more and more work so we never run out. Pay is always on time...for us experienced MTs...all is GREAT!!!

I have worked with them for going on 7 years and I keep in touch with over 30 other AccuStat MTs as well as we all help eachother. We all love them as they are helpful and treat you like a person. You will see bad remarks on here but, from what we all know, they are from MTs that were fired...

I have been with the company 2 years and I love AccuStat. They are personable. They care if you are happy or not with the work you have and they do all they can to make sure you are busy. They pay on time, every time and that is a HUGE bonus for all MTs.

I worked for Accustat for over a year and had no problems with pay. I loved the people there and they were very nice. I do not have anything bad to say about this company.

AccuStat in Wisconsin
I need some input from anyone working for AccuStat. I started with them on Monday. Today is Thursday. Not much work given to me so far. My work is top quality, so that's not the issue. I'm getting nervous. So far I have made enough money to buy McDonald's lunch (well, maybe dinner too). Do they run out of work often? Help!!! I need some input.

I only know about AccuSTAT in Wisconsin, but
you can check the archives. It is a small MTSO with good accounts and good dictators, but they only hire IC status and I needed benefits. The pay was always on time and for headers and spaces.

I have been working for this company for 6 months as an IC (editor and MT). The owner is great to work and pay is always on time. The dictators I get are like dreams. Having to have a C-phone can be a bit of an obstacle, but luckily for me I am an oldie and so I have one. Great work, straight typing and you are actually paid for what you do. I know there are so many questions about different companies and I wanted to give my opinion on this one.

Me and about 25 other MTs that I am in contact with that all work with AccuStat are having no problems getting paid. Maybe the client that you are working on is not paying?? This is the downfall of being an IC. You will get your pay as AccuStat is very good to their MTs...dont worry!!

Get this, I had my own client since Feb. When i first started they were five weeks behind. Got them all caught up. REcently have been having trouble getting my paycheck. Keep being told its in the mail. I started putting a little bit of pressure on my boss yesterday and now tonight at 10:30 i got an email saying we should part ways. I am so upset and do not know what to do. All because i asked for my pay. Uh may be they dont think over 2G is not a lot of money to them but I do. They also were pushing me about TAT. They gave me 4 days no problems as long as i get the files and everything i need in a timely manner, which lately i have not so i have been calling the manager because that is what i was told to do. I really hate to go back to work for a big national but I guess now i have no other choice. I wrote back a big reply to her email and waiting to see if i get a response and DH also told me i should call my manager and tell her thanks for the back stabbing? What do you think?

Hey, it is usually the client that changes pay practices...why is everyone on this board out to badmouth one person after another....dishonesty is not always the path taken
I have (I am an IC). I had one client that
used cassette tapes and if I had to scan a tape I charged an extra 0.02 per line for that report. Not much, but it did cut down on the Stats. I also printed reports at home and if I had to reprint something because of their error or losing report, etc., I charged 0.05 just to reprint it.
The client usually never knows about VR sm
being used (big secret the larger companies keep), so they are getting full transcription rate and paying 1/2 rate to MTs to edit - more profit for the service!

How much do you get per line from AccuStat? I heard MTs were having to take pay cuts now.
