I am not following how you make the macro, in word? or expander like shorthand? Help me.

Does the Emdat platform use Word or is it Word-based? nm
nm
Is that a Word-based platform?
I just applied for that position and they e-mailed me with some questions.
Word based platform
Are there any GOOD companiesthat work on a Word-based platform?
they run off a word-based platform
it's not very stream-lined and kinda klunky, but efficient enough. I know they've made recent updates to make it run a little faster, but there were times when i would spent two to three minutes after filling out the screen waiting for my work screen to appear.
The platform is not Word, but it is Word-based. I
had little Word experience and the recruiter told me to try to find a book to learn the basics of Word as their program is Word-based.
Is the platform good? Word-based? Is the new
position still recruiting? Just passed the written and doing the transcription next..
What in your experience is the most efficient Word-based radiology platform to work on? nm

Shorthand, any expander that works with Word
Great company to work for - some dictators are difficult to understand at first, very good compensation.
Keystrokers - do you work in Word - Can you use ShortHand - How many lines for fulltime? Thanks
nm
It can if it is word based
Any word based Expander can be copied over into Medware.
DVI - MS Word based
nm
The platform is Word. Their program works with Word but does not change how Word works. nm
The benefits just changed the first part of this month. I don't have them but I remember them being reasonabl for a single person. Family and spouse was not reasonable in any way (in my opinion).
But I thought that was not Word-based. Is it? nm

Is Emdat word-based?
nm
Meditech word-based?
Anyone working for company that uses this? From my understanding they count lines according to the amount of minutes you type. Those of you experienced on this version of Meditech, please share some insight. Thanks.
What is Iscriptor (Word based??) and ... NM
xxxx
No, it's not Word based at all, totally different...nm

Their platform is proprietary and you can use Shorthand...sm
with it, or ShortCut. Those 2 I know for sure are compatible. I really like the platform - it's called ChartMatrix. It keeps a running total of your lines as you type, so you know right where your production is at any given time. They pay for headers, footers and spaces which is great.
Come and join us!
Work for them, they use Shorthand and platform sm
is Acuity at least on my particular account.
It's not word based - keystroke combos are different. NM
xx
Sounds great! Is it Word-based?
I am totally clueless about it!
yes, it is word based. And very user friendly. IMO.
nm.
It's Rapid Text-a Word-based
program. It has most of the templates built in. Very user friendly. Pretty much, if you can type in Word, you can use this platform.
MT-World Transcription - which is word-based. nm
/
?If it's not Word-based, it shares a lot of the same commands..sm
So whatever. Ctrl-C, V, X, etc. Agree it can be slow but has gotten better. By far not the best I've used, but also not the worst. Almost last, though. ShortHand is crap, but you can use IT. Good luck.
Word based expanders work with Merit
Hope that helps
Word-based, expander included, easy to use...NM
NM
iType is word based, iText Expander SM...
is included in the program and it works great for me. They were able to import my old PRD files right into it. Cost zero. You do need your own spellchecker. Pretty good program, reasonably MT friendly.
Do they use MT-World software? Is it Word based? Easy? Productive? Thx. nm

Reputable company w/ platform compatible w/ InstanText/Shorthand
Am heavily dependent on sophisticated Expanders that incorporate code script, like ShortHand and InstanText. Can anyone recommend reputable employers whose platforms are compatible with these programs?
Similar. ExText is Word based. I prefer it to Meditech for ease of use.nm
s
I would LOVE to hear opinions on Enterprise platform for Webmedx&for Shorthand.See msg.
Thanks so much! Does anyone know if Instant Text will work with Enterprise also. The recruiter who offered me a job was fuzzy on that. Any webmedx employees who would like to E-mail me opinions, etc., I would deeply appreciate it.
Is it an internet-based platform or VR? What is wrong with it?
nm
If they say internet-based ASP, is that just the platform, or is it voice recog? nm
xx
Do you know any MTs who use Word for their platform?
nm
Thanks. What platform do they use and is Word compatible?
How about straight Word platform at
Easy enough? Is Meditech anything like that? I've never used Meditech personally.
I don't think it's a platform. I think it is just typing in Word. nm
nm
If you are working in a Word platform
and not some confabulated platform, then the autocorrect that is part of MS Word is more than adequate for macros and expanding words. That is all I have used for the last 10 years and do just fine. Save your money.
FN uses iType platform for Word...nm

MDI-FL - is the internet platform/MS word a good
platform. I understand they have about 4 different platforms. I would be interested in the proprietary internet platform that uses MS Word. Is it user friendly and productive, can you see your line counts immediately, what type of short cut Expander is used, and the type of voice player to download jobs?
Thanks
Company that uses MS word insteadof their platform.
Did a search, did not come up with any. TIA
I type in Word and use the Scribe platform...
but I don't use a C-phone...
