Ever hear of taking a break?
nm
I usually ignore these things too
This report was from a couple days ago, so I don't think things have changed. The format is totally 100% wrong in nearly all fields. The thing is, they let these new MTs off QA in a matter of days. I understand there were many new MTs to check, but I don't understand how something like this got through, especially when one of my reports was reviewed and though there were no errors, I was told to use of between CO2 and the number to avoid confusion. Seems a bit picky when you have something like this report going to the facility. There was no additional sign off on this report and this particular doctor is a very, very good dictator, though uses many uncommon terms that need to be looked up. I don't know, I guess I will hold off a bit for now.
You smell things? Give me a break! You
are really reading way too much into a simple post. I am in QA, and I do not work for the range I quoted. However, I know that many companies are now offering peanuts in the ranges I quoted, or lower with paying by the line. My friends are QA, and keep me updated with the insulting range of pay offers. Sorry, not an exec and not looking to lower anyone's anything! Stress out much?
Who's taking things personally?? SM
So feedback takes up a lot of your time? Well, what were you hired for, wasn't it? Do you think it takes up less of an MT's time...who's only getting paid measly pennies on production to deal with you nitpicking (I'm not speaking of constructive criticism, as you like to call it, just a comma here and a hypen or a lack thereof over there. Should we transcribe verbatim or if we even dare to correct a grammar anomaly once in a while, we get a lecture from QA... we're not smart enough for that. Different QAs on different shifts will contradict each other to no end, just to have something to b---- about and show management that you justify holding your job....see, Mom, I'm on the ball! So don't pull punches with us lowly peon MTs.... you love giving feedback. Shows management you're earning your oats, right?
Taking a stand too but first things first
Taking a stand too but first things first
In my heart and head, I am totally taking a stand. But, I have to have a job, I cannot afford to leave without one. But, I will leave. Good luck to you and well done for standing up for yourself, U.S. MTs, and against offshoring practices.
Don't take things personally. I know it's hard, but don't. Cannot worry
z
Because you keep thinking things will get better with hard work, not always.
nm
Agree, lines are hard to get. I also think the sound quality doesnt help things. nm
:
I know Webmedx has a time clock - with MQ I put laundry in, got coffee, loaded DW (sm)
went to the bathroom, etc. without clocking out and still kept my lines per hour up just fine. With Webmedx do you clock out for all these little things or as long as you get lines per payperiod or per hour it works out?
Ignore them if you can.
I didn't think you were management or brown-nosing, nor did I see anything wrong with your post. I don't think it is old biddies, I think they are extremely young or at least they seem immature to me. They are like little gremlins or something. The very second they see anything positive said or someone asks a question, it seems to irritate them and they crawl out. Couldn't tell you why, but don't worry about it. Everyone that reads these forums are not that way. Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and I for one am glad to see someone happy with their company.
Ignore this
I have no idea why this double posted, but if someone could delete one, I would be much appreciative!
Ignore them
Oh my gosh just delete them. That's what I do. They are not asking you specifically to get on and work so if it's not your shift why are you getting so upset about it? Use your delete key.
I AM SO SORRY... PLEASE JUST IGNORE US...
Have I no shame, you may ask, and rightfully so. If I were truly of sound mind, that would be a very fair question. Unfortunately, as I have detailed below, that is, sadly, not the case.
There is hope, however! You see, as I was about to fling myself into The Hillbilly Acres Memorial Septic Tank, I was amazingly stopped by the engineer who was, AT THAT VERY MOMENT, servicing said septic tank. Can we all talk about timing??!! This kind man informed me that he was looking for an assistant and I was OBVIOUSLY PERFECT FOR THAT JOB! Of course, I was forced to perform a few acts that were rather displeasing to my various personas (hey, haven't we all been in this position at one or another time in our lives!) to acquire said Asst Septic Tank Engineer job but it is going to be worth it, I know! Soon I will have money for health insurance and MEDICATION and will never darken your MT doorsteps ever, EVER AGAIN. I PROMISE!
Now, until then, please, PLEASE, I BEG YOU, IGNORE ANY FURTHER POSTINGS FROM US/ME/IT/WE/ETC.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation with us!
CONSIDER THE COURSE & IGNORE.nm
I ignore verbatim
and use common sense. If it is obviously a woman, ADT screen if you are on DocQScribe will tell you that. The doctors have these degrees but they are not perfect. Nobody is. I have a doctor who does not even know how to count, 1, 2 4, 8, 7, ??? Now I do not type this.
We are smarter than the docs sometime and just forget about verbatim in those situations.
They do not even know how to spell many meds either but you can't go verbatim here either.
You will give good patient care by typing what is right and ignoring the doc.
Ignore the above post. nm

Ignore the troll.
p;
They ignore both IM AND emails sm
Emails are usually ignored. As for IM, usually ignored also except for 1 person, who is good at answering but she's lower down the pole and isn't the contact person for some of the stuff. She's the only good one there.
How about you just don't handle it and ignore it.
sometimes, less is best!
OSi because they ignore me about a secondary
.
Just ignore her TT112.
Gloria loves to stir the pot and will post under different monikers agreeing with herself. Oh yeah -- just my observation.
Ignore her. We are all in this world
nm
Tsk. Ignore above post. Obviously
X
No, she did not ignore the point. sm
She was making the point that if you know something in advance, you should not complain about it later if you agreed to it. Just stick to your point, if valid. If not, why complain because you agreed to it.
Please just scan through and ignore any MQ news. (sm)
As with any company, when something new comes up there are quite a few posts about it, this happens to be a large company and has a lot of employees.
Just scan through the headings, you don't have to open each one. I bet it will only take a few minutes to do.
Have a nice day.
Glad you can ignore verbatim -
We were told very specifically to type word for word. We can send things to QA if we question them. Also have one doctor who specifies all his numbers be left out of order because he has some nutty system in his charts that he likes to use. What you do cannot be applied across the board, much as we all might like to do it!
Mostly, I simply ignore the "trolls"..don't need em...nm
x
Just ignore her. She liked to make trouble when she was there. nm
nm
That's what any intelligent person WOULD do. I'd ignore the
.
Ignore the 1st person's response..sm
I know new MTs who have worked very hard and actually became certified through AAMT with only having about the same amount of work experience as you.
I say stick it out with Transcend, but it doesn't hurt to do your interview with Spheris either.
Good Luck and welcome to the jungle :)
Ignore it. If they are just basically e-mailing
do not feel compelled to answer an e-mail that has other MT names in it. If it is directed right at you, then answer when you get the chance. Don't feel nailed to the computer.
Now if they are using IM, that is a different story. Instant messenger is control in my honest opinion and as an IC should not be part of the deal.
If you know your accounts in and out you may want to stay and just ignore some of the e-mails that get you hot and bothered.
I also am an IC for an online company that does mass e-mails when there is work to be done, but it is not directed right at me but to all MTs on that particular account. I do not feel the need to answer each and every e-mail unless I am the only addressee. Of course, you may not know if they are blind copying, but just my opinion.
crystal ignore her, truth be known I sm
wonder what HER quality is like on VR? I have seen some of the VR coming back and it is awful. Mistakes corrected by more mistakes! You aren't going to get anything better because you have inexperienced folks doing VR because that is all they can do.
so don't read the post. Ignore it instead sm
of being hateful.
ignore her, "just a thought" might sm
need an advocate some day!
Sorry to hear GP....try to ignore NM and others who try to bring you down ;-)
xxx
Ignore her. You can get a job with them without giving someone that rude any money.
x
I agree public should know. I think drs. know but choose to ignore.
:+
Thanks. Trolls are easy to spot (and ignore). ;) nm
x
Then please just ignore the posts. Perhaps they are new and just testing the waters yet. nm
Ignore the grammar and spelling police
on this board and in private email, and they will go away.
oops.wrong board. pls ignore.
dd
You basically said ignore cherry-pickers.
And what a cheap shot to claim someone else can't read. Have fun being a bleeding-heart loser! To say basically ignore someone doing wrong is by default to defend the action.
The idiot who is saying ignore cherry pickers
has probably never had to suffer in lines and wages the consequences of a cherry-picker. People like her saying ignore it and go on are just as bad as those who condone it. Look way below, she's now personally attacking the person who called her on it!!
Amen! I learned to just ignore all the naysayers on here..(nm)

Longish post here sm if you care, ignore if you don't
1) TT is a great company with many great people.
2) ASR is underpaid, over pushed, no real support or help at TT.
3) They are talking out of both sides of their mouths. Disingenuous to talk up ASR when they know that it doesn't give them as much profit as traditional, but they will talk it up. See below.
4) Some short-sighted business plans have been made by the company. They simply failed to see the handwriting on the wall.
5) Management doesn't have it as good as you think. They have had their lovely benefits packages CUT.
6) They are not in financial difficulty YET. They aren't for sale AT THIS POINT.
7) I have moved on. I got out the day they pushed ASR for us all.
The problem starts with the fact that, like so many other companies, they are in Dictaphone's back pocket, or shall we say that Dictaphone is running the puppet strings. Dictaphone jerks and the puppet companies fly. The ASR that TT is pushing is not their fault, nor is what they can afford to pay their fault. We can't work for free, we have to make enough to pay us, pay for our managers and support people, AND help the company be profitable so that we have work. They are trying to stay afloat just like the rest of us.
The idea that anyone is getting rich at TT is a joke. They are all messin' in their pants trying to figure out how to stay in business. They are NOT alone! Lots of companies who use Extext, Escription, Nuance etc. are in the same boat...except for Focus who is owned by Dictaphone. We all know the deal with Focus.
I can't sit and say nasty stuff about TT. I made good money there for quite a while. That ended, I moved on, but I am not holding a grudge and I won't slam them.
Grow up and move on!
How did they break it to you?
Why would they drop direct deposit? Does it cost a company to provide that service? Sorry to hear about your insurance.
I can ignore the snot sucking, yawning, belching, etc, but
when they will barely open their mouths to form words, and it all sounds like incoherent blubbering, which of course is exacerbated by their flat monotone. The next on the list of annoyances are those that continually change the way they want the sentence to read but never give any indication of it by saying, strike that or sorry, change that to... They just keep on talking creating a sentence that makes absolutely no sense, and I'm sitting there wondering what exactly it is they want to say. Time to shine up my crystal ball.
I agree Lead MT, that was rude! Hope others ignore (sm)
the rudeness. There are bugs and kinks everywhere, as long as the Lead MT and others work with you, there should not be a problem. Some people like to complain and create chaos. Types that that should be ignored.
Give me a break.
I doubt 100% that you posted AGAINST Keystrokes and used your real name. Not gonna make me believe that in a minute, cause if you did, it would have been spread all over this board like wildfire, with Lee and the whole gang from KS posting to you, yadda, yadda. Don't believe you one minute. As for posting against Spheris, hmmmm... they have like 12,000 or more employees now? Bigger than MQ. So, boy, you're sure brave if you ever posted as Michelle. Yep, they'd be able to zero right in on you on their radar screen! Please....Transcend watches this board like a hawk, and DOES contact posters. PERIOD. It is scary and it is a hassle, so its a business strategy that does work for them regarding damage control. Doesn't mean any of us are "hiding" or that our negative comments are any less valid than your soap-box stances defending Transcend.
Give me a break!
I understand there are two sides to every story, but there is no excuse for not paying the people who have worked for you. I just hope you are a better business owner than she is.
