That is a disease just like cancer

Would you say the same if that were the case?  People like you are despicable.

I am not the OP but I have an AI disease as well and they have worked with me. sm
I did not tell them that I have severe fibromyalgia when I started. I had been doing well and thought I could work FT. Well, three weeks into employment, with everything going well, I had a bad flare up. I handed in my resignation stating what was wrong and that I could not handle working FT at that time.

My lead and then the owner contacted me, telling me that they can either accept my resignation, put me on FMLA or let me do what I can while I am having a flare-up, both within 5 minutes of my sending the email, neither knowing the other person contacted me.

That was 2 years ago. I have had 3 since then and, knock on wood, have been feeling great. I would have probably left KS and been depressed thinking I could not hold a job because of something I could not help. Instead, I found caring people who worked with me and let me do what I needed. I work FT, know that I have to split my shift and help out extra when needed if I can. They work with me without hovering. Mentally, this has been a blessing for me!
Acuspheris sounds like a dreaded disease.

that would make it the disease of B. Crohn, therefore, the apostrophe stays. (sm)
That's how I was taught.  If you can replace the apostrophe with the word OF then the apostrophe is correct.  Regular grammar states the apostrophe would stay.  BOS says otherwise. Personally, I like proper grammar.
Wow, they have a town named after me! LOL. nm

I think there are more than one company named that. nm

company named IDS...

Anyone ever hear of or work for this company, IDS?  Just curious as to what they are like, do they pay on time, are they good to work for, etc.  Thanks very much for any info.

There is a poster named Jai
that works for them, and she posted something not too long ago about them that she likes it.   I think she is the one though that has a lot of questions on the word board, so if she is doing word for word, they must have a lot of ESLs or something.
company named LTS
Can anyone tell me anything about a company named LTS?  Thanks
Aptly named.
Wrong! Minimizing, mind reading, name calling. Assuming.
Anyone know of a company named
Any information, good or bad?  Thanks very much.
You mean the lady named Pepper at OSI?
who knew!
bet if she named the co she would no longer be a recruiter for them.
Some things you have to look at twice because you really don't believe what you read
Any body know anything about a company named PTS,
curious.  I tried Archives but could not come up with anything.  TIA.
I'm looking for information about the company named DSG. nm

Crohn diease - The disease that was name after Burrill Crohn. sm
His name was not Crohn's. It was Crohn.
I do not believe any names were named or any co was mentioned. I only know what I was thinking and
only the incident. I would not name a co. That's not me.
Wrong about making assumptions though. We all do it. There is a big difference in making an assumption and actually naming a co which I did not do.
What did you want to know? Just named AAMT employer of year! sm
With the caveat that no company can be everything to all MTs, I personally have been with Webmedx (and Rodeer, who was bought by Wbx a few years ago) since 1998 and have been pleased. Good platform, decent accounts, average pay with chance of making bonuses, room for advancement (I know of MTs who have moved into QA), decent QA feedback, and I love my manager.

Benefits are good in my opinion. Pay is on time (all direct deposit), workflow decently steady. Your mileage may vary, of course. :)
Saw ad for Transcend and they actually named the new account they were hiring for (sm)
Isn't that a little strange?  I know we don't post account specifics and I have never seen a company do so before.  They mentioned the hospital name, town and state.
company named Voice Systems
What does anyone know about a company in Georgia named Voice Systems?  Are they a good company to work for?  Do they pay well?  Thanks very much.
About as funny as a Clinic in California named Ole'
Didn't they get wiped out by the Mexicans?
*good morning* !! Accts are not named here! NM

Is there actually a company named Rural Transcription?
I thought she was trying to say that she lives in a rural area and has to do transcription at home because there are no local in-house jobs. I didn't think she was badmouthing a particular company by name...

Am I missing something?
I saw the MQ Hawaii vacation winner was someone named Lori G. (sm)
congratulations to her.  I, of course, am jealous though.
My sister's cat is named Pubert - or Pube for short...
I really DO have odd sisters, don't I? BTW - my really cheap Big Sister did manage to buy me a decent gift - the Beatles 1 CD. Unfortunately, she got me the same thing last year...ARGH
I don't see anywhere where she named the person, or company, or location. NOT a big deal. nm

In retrospect, I shouldn't have named my company because truly I do love working for them and sho
assume this was just a payroll error. So, that's what I'm thinking until I know better. If I did lose my insurance without any notice, then I would not be a very happy camper and would do what I needed to do. But, in the meantime, they have been great to work for...
We also say 'Ford trucks' named after Henry Ford. Makes sense to me.
//
They named people's names. That is not right. People just sm

need to keep from naming names.  I thought it was an informative bit of information, but when you name names, then posts are way out of line.

I would really like to see a truly professional way of talking about a company.  I don't care what board you go to, somehow people just do not want to play nice when it comes to talking about people.  If those people could learn to be a little more professional and stop posting names to their wrath or anger, then that will be the day I can say I am proud to be in this profession.  When I see those types of things, it makes my skin crawl.  If it were me being talked about, I would be livid.  I certainly understand why the posts were deleted.
