It's rough.

I had a rough time of it. Had the surgery in 1994. Went to PT for about 5 months and never fully recovered. I too take breaks off and on throughout the day and do the same, feel like I'm here morning til night, but I love the flexibility, especially not having to punch a time clock. Worked for MQ for 7 years before MDI. I could never work for a company where you had to do 1000 or 1200 lines in an 8-hour shift because of the chronic pain. I just had an offer from someone who wanted 1200 in a 7-hour shift. Maybe it is account specific, I don't know, but whatever it is I'm glad they are so great to work for. I know someone who started part time with them and wasn't meeting their line committments so they let her go p.r.n., which I didn't even know thay had. She can just go on and type whenever she wants to. She has a full time job at an outside hospital. It's nice to meet you too!

I like it a lot now that I am used to it. It was rough at first but has really gotten better for me
The line count is really, really good on there!
The first one was rough as I started on the sm
3rd of the month and had to wait until the period ended (the 15th) and then 15 days to get paid.
My friend started on the 28th, so she had a check on the 15th for the 28th-31st.
Once you get that first one, the rest are the 1st and 15th, so it is easy to plan.
It seems like 6 weeks, but it is really only 4 and really only 2 weeks after the last day of the pay period.
Does that help?
Yep the adjustment has been rough. I too
went to WMX and hated every second I was there. I gave it a fair trial I think. Besides lack of work I hated that time clock. Went somewhere else and now am at KS. There has been an adjustment too, but it is more like QT. They leave you alone, which isn't necessarily good when you have questions, but there is a lot of work and some flexibility depending on account.
Going from gross lines to 65 character hurts and I feel like I'm killing myself to get the required 1200 lines, when I could easily do 1700+ at QT in less hours.
No, most are good. There are a couple that are a little rough
but I don't think as bad as the test files.
The QA is rough. I receive a lot of feedback. Looks like those of you that are not happy with your
again and have to bash a company that has pulled ahead of the crowd in terms of employee satisfaction. Sad, sad, sad.
I suggest you ask for a mentor to help you through the rough spots.
I had trouble with the demog screens at first but I got a routine down and now they go very quickly for me. My production is back up even higher than at my old company. Good luck.
I'm surprised he is still around. I've heard he's had a rough time
could just be rumors. I heard someone was trying to buy/force him out.
Yeah, both.. Really rough accounts but exceptionally nice people.
It's a shame but some of the accounts were really high ESL. I did like the people though and would have stayed if the accounts were different.
