I like her communication style and it seems there will be plenty of work. She seems to be straightforward to me, so I'm going to give her a shot.
I've had similar offers where I couldn't find anything about the MTSO, good or bad, but for whatever reason got a negative vibe and declined the offer. I'm not getting this feeling with TMI, so I've accepted her offer.
Time will tell, but I'm optimistic at this point.

Any website visited, any e-mail sent/received is
on that computer. I don't know if they can access your computer when not connected, but all the information is there when you connect should they want to access it. I always used another computer for nonwork related issues, not that I was paranoid or had anything to hide, I just thought it was a good idea.

I can speak for AccuSTAT Wisconsin. It's not affiliated to any other AccuSTAT.
I've been with AccuSTAT Wisconsin now for 9 years and I wouldn't work anywhere else. The work is acute care (basic 4), mostly ops and ER work. The work is done thru C-phone or VXP software.

07/13/2007--They ding you for everything. From what I gather, the few editors they have are very inexperienced and they have an automatic grader that takes lines from you. The account specifics are very vague and often times do not match the examples given. For example, the example may show to do a report one way and if you do it that way, the Editor may mark it wrong and you lose lines. My first week, I lost 60.00 for the most minor of things and things I could verify in the BOS. Nobody will respond when you try to get verification. My check was short, nobody would respond to that either. I left after just 3 weeks. I would stay away from this bunch.
05/29/2008--They are just about all Filipino MT related and they literally kiss their behinds. They used to deduct from them just like the domestics, but they are phasing that out. Domestics are deducted for every little mistake. One girl was let go after only one week, had NO mentoring. Admin staff never been MTs.

I used to have a QA guy that couldn't transcribe, couldn't fill in a blank,
but was anal retentive when it came to punctuation. You would have a report with 10 blanks in it because of poor sound quality, and he wouldn't fill in one blank, but he had put commas all throughout your report, or taken apostrophes out, etc. and he wasn't correct in his punctuation a lot of the time. Several of the MTs complained about him and asked to not have him do their QA, so he was demoted from QA to an MT. Well, as I said earlier, he couldn't fill in a blank. I saw a couple of his reports and there was blank after blank in reports that I had no trouble with at all. He also didn't proof his reports because he would have inapproriate/incorrect expansions in them. Not sure if he left on his own, or didn't really have a choice. Anyway, talk to your supervisor. Maybe this person is just on a power trip, knows you are new and wants to train you to do it her way, even if your way isn't incorrect. I think punctuation is a valid issue, but if it doesn't change the integrity of the report and there are no other errors it shouldn't be flagged by QA. You could also take into account her corrections and maybe try to use a few more commas, etc. and that might help.

You should check out the Nuance website and the Focus website
Nuance is Dictaphone and since a lot of use Dictaphone equipment, you can say we all have something to do with this. If you are surprised at the website above, look at the US website of nuance. Just IMHO and try to get both sides of the corporation.

Has anyone applied at AccuStat and received the test? I think 30 minutes of dictation is kind of a long test to take. Is there anyone else who feels the same? Does anyone have information on this company in regards to timely pay? I would not want to take what could turn into a 3-hour test if they are not a good company. TIA for any info...
