Hard to make lines
xxxx
EDMAT is very hard to make lines.
x
weird pay scale, hard to make lines, can't
make money, currently training women in Trinidad to do our job.
BTW The pay at these times with the incentive tier
At least for my abilities and b/c I am willing to work hard. My checks after being so low elsewhere are finally getting back to where they should be, and the bill collectors are much happier, so I am too.
That wasn't my experience, but their incentive tier goes by lph sm
which boosts your line rate, so that is kind of nice, since I was only working part-time. I thought the platform was rather slow, though. I normally average around 300 lph and even typing like a fiend, I could only make around 250 at Webmedx.
Not sure, but they have a great incentive tier and differentials
and you can get those line counts. Reminds me of days working for the hospital, first time in years!
Why not 1 job with more lines for more incentive? nm
x
Tier 4 is the highest tier at MQ, operative reports only. nm
.
No. I make incentive also.

I love the PT incentive plan. As long as some of the lines are done on SM
the weekend, it is not hard at all to reach the incentive tier. Last check, I had $95 on there that I wasn't really even expecting because I had reached the bonus tier (and didn't even know it LOL).
I make $16.50, plus there is an incentive in place.
nm
High tier 4 now (out of 5--whatever) was highest MQ tier.
Can pretty much do it all. I detest pathology, too, and thick Russian accents. :)
i make 38,400 annually plus incentive. i think the average is about 40,000
/
I make 9 cpl on a tiered incentive system
at the bottom rung, going up on 0.5 cpl increment up to 11 cpl as an employee. I also make 10 cpl at my IC job.
They work with you to make sure you get the lines required or the amount of lines you want...
I have never had a problem getting more work
the lines are hard

Is it hard to get lines in.
or is it just me. I have been typing all day and only have 300 lines. I am using their Merit system. At my other job, usually after 4 hours I have 500 to 600 lines. Maybe I am just not used to their plateform yet. Good thing I am still on hourly. I would starve to death if I were on line count.
It is hard to get lines anyway, but....
It is easier for a company to manipulate lines if you have to go to the Dicataphone web site you get your bulk lines, with reports not broken down, i.e., 1000 lines, 25 reports. At least if you can verify you have 25 reports on their line counter and what you wrote down, you can always copy your reports from Ex-Text (it is word based), go into your Word (outside of Ex-Text) and verify the line counts, maybe spot check them, or you can ask your trainer how to check the line count after you have finished it and click on the doctor or the patient, it gives the line count for that job. (to me a lot of wasted time but it is a way to verify). I'm sorry, I do not trust a company who will not let you verify the # of reports with the amount of lines you have done. What if 2 to 3 reports are dropped? You have no way of telling them that report did not show up on your line count. That means your WORKED FREE, and they got the total line count, or someone else redid your report.
I found if I had to go the Dictaphone web site to get my conglomerate line count for the day, at the end of the pay period and I got my check I was usually shocked, it was way lower than if I can go into Sessions, the same screen you click on to go into the demographics. There is shows how many reports (the # of reports for that specific time and the line count) you have done and the total lines and it is quick.
There must be a reason some companies don't use it and I think it is because they know you can't verify how many reports you have done. To me that is dishonest with a capital D.
You will find with most companies using Ex-Text that Sessions is blocked for your use, thus, you cannot get the # of reports you have done in a day.
I found it hard to get lines with them. It might of
been their line counting system or the typing program they used. But it didn't feel like it was counting right. I started at 9 cpl with 8 years experience. But otherwise, they paid on time.
Great incentive plan, but based on speed/lph not total lines produced. Works if you are fast.
x
It would be hard to come up with 2 lines worth of headers..nm

Is it hard to get lines at Precyse? Does work run
nm
lines are REALLY hard to get. no way to keep track, you have to ASK for them. it's a pain and not
xx
I think it's a lot slower. I'm having a hard time getting lines, but I'm

Strictly IC, good company, hard accounts, good platform.
Good pay, always on time, no direct deposit though.
Good company, with good incentive SM
pay scale, decent health plan for full-timers, lower end for other benefits, well organized and dependable, good platform, good support. Very heavy ESL, medium-sized community medical centers, relatively high SR pay rate because it takes longer overall to clean it up. However--good producers who put in a good workday make quite good money here.
They have a very good incentive
plan, even better than MQs old incentive plan.
Why make us hard working MTs have to .....sm
deal with that every day. I love this board and it is very unfortunate you do not have to register yourself here. I am sure you would not be posting all the garbage that you do. You would have to actually stand behind what you post.
hard to make money
One account has a rotten platform that doesn't work half the time and has a long record of miscounting lines. Just about everything is 100% listen which makes it even harder to make money by the line. Big turnover in account managers lately so expect to work for phone clerks and HR clerks who have been promoted to account manager (cheaper that way) and people who have no acute care experience whatsoever. You've probably already been told there is no holiday pay, the vacation time sucks, and the insurance is horrible. If you just need editing experience to move on, that that's the place.
YES...a ton of them, hard to make production..nm

Reply to how hard to make 900.00
Not hard at all. We constantly train on proficiency in editing. Tips/tricks to go faster, leave your hand so the keyboard, etc. It's really great - I am always amazed at how quickly the recognizer picks things up. We also have just typing platforms still with no editing. Most people become very proficient with it quickly.
Agree, lines are hard to get. I also think the sound quality doesnt help things. nm
:
I make that much $ too but i work very hard. Its possible, not easy.

honey, all incentive plans look good until
they find some reason not to come through with the pay out! Good luck!
E-Transplus has a good incentive plan
Even extra money if you do all your lines in your schedule every payperiod, extra money for shift differentials, plus a generous incentive tier. Also great benes.
When there is a lot of work, do you find it hard to make 1100?
cause I sure do.
Pay isn't bad, but alot of ESLs. Hard to make money.

Minimum lines for FT used to be 60,000 keystrokes a day, about 925 lines. Pay was good. Just not a

Same here. Too much fuzz and static on the lines. Redid the hard drive, new phones, new sound card,

depends; can make more $ on easy platform/7 than hard platofrm/8-9 cents

Very good company. Incentive pay for production plus shift and weekend differentials. sm
Their platform is stable (proprietary, I've been on it for about a year and a half now). Pay is always on time. Good support staff. Their insurance changed this year. Plenty of work. They don't overhire on their accounts from what I can see. If anything, there is always plenty of work, which I like because I can hop on outside of my regular shift and get some more lines. Now that they pay extra for weekends, I like to pick up some extra hours then.
Good luck with the 11 CPL - very hard to come by -
Don't give up trying but I have tons of experience and no one wants to offer more than 9 cpl tops. It sucks, big time.
Hard to believe, but sounds good. nm

How does one count one's lines on DQS to make sure one's
Love Ops, make more lines on Ops than
anything else. If you haven't done it in a while may be slow going until you're familiar with equipment/procedure terminology.
Slow way to make lines
A friend has and it was much slower at line production but she had severe carpal tunnel syndrome... so it enabled to her to work is about it.
Now you can not make your lines in 9 hours!

Gee, I tried real hard to find those good posts,
but all I could find, in addition to the other complaints already listed, were complaints about being in the "middle of an 11-minute job when it was pulled and given to someone else," "There has to be a better way NOT to make a living," "I know I am going to end up on food stamps," complaints of no compensation for down time and BTXT being down and MTs not being notified.
If there were one or two positive comments about it on there somewhere, they are certainly overshadowed by all the justified negativity, outrage and frustration that's there.
I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy, and you should be ashamed of yourself if you recommend that anyone apply there for employment these days. It used to be a good company, and like the song says, "Used-to-be's don't count any more." Although I don't expect them to "bring me flowers" I do expect to be able to earn a living wage, and those days are quickly disappearing.
They are good production and interesting, but hard to learn. nm

Good MT hard to find & 1 familiar with platform is
x
Not a good company. Their pay is low and software hard to work with sm
although now they say DocQScribe which means they have picked up MQ accounts like other companies. I would stay away.
