In the know

Here is the deal. She gets work when the clinic sends it. They send it in batches on tapes. She has a digital system but they are stubborn about keeping the tapes. She offers the work out to the MTs that work on the account and they can choose whether or not to take it and how much. She never, ever gives you work that you don't specifically agree to take and just asks that you have it back within 24 hours, which seems reasonable but a lot of people have a hard time with for some unknown reason. The reason why she keeps posting the ad is because she gets a lot of responses and will contact a few, lucky if one MT doesn't tell her they have another job offer before they even technically start, or they will be enthusiastic to start to work and then all of the sudden this and that comes up and maybe they can start next month. She gets pretty frustrated and gives up looking for while and then decides she really can't wait and will repost the ad.
She is a personal friend and I've worked on the account in the past, just don't right now because my f/t job is even more than I can handle personally right now, let alone extra on the side. I will tell you that there are only a handfull of doctors, no ESLs, really fairly easy transcription, and it's pretty much p.r.n. on both sides, meaning she offers it when she gets it and you take it when you want it.
