think again. The best attendings will be gone to VR and you will get the leftovers. I have been doing both for a year and I can guarantee you your CEO is full of it. Dont believe a word of it. You will either make less money on ASR or less money on the leftovers. Take you choice.

there so I never had to deal with Amherst when there was no work because I just stopped working and did other things. My feeling is if this doesnt work there are other jobs out there.

I worked there for few months and realized that its not a good place to work at all. Specially the Owners of the Company is the biggest problem to work there as he is not a professional at all. They are loosing clients recently and not good to go there

I've worked many, many evening shifts doing all the dictators and junk everyone skipped or logged off and left for me. But, it's my job to do whatever is assigned to me. But I'm not like that - I know those people have hurt us, as a whole, but I genuinely was very ill and the room was spinning while I was typing. From a quality standpoint - I hope they double-checked everything I typed that day, because I really was so sick. I've typed with clogged ears while battling a cold, coughing my brains out with bronchitis, even running to the bathroom with you-know-what, but this UTI made me so feverish, lightheaded and in pain from urgency and frequency, that I debated going to the ER ... it was that bad. Literally, I sat typing with tears running down my face. NO job is worth that.

Best move I made in my career! I was with Cymed before they became SPI. I left last February and went to Keystrokes. I'm more than glad that I did! They were still calling me almost every week up until August asking me why I wasn't working! What a bunch of idiots!

I read all of the replies to your question so far, and it is nice to see all the support from your coworkers. All had very thoughtful and well thought out replies. Must be a nice company to work for, and I think you are fortunate to work there.

I also don't like having my credit report hacked. Too much ID theft these days, and my financial advisor said it is the only way to fly these days. One of my credit cards was hacked a few years ago, so this extra precaution is something I'm willing to do to protect myself even more. And, no matter what, ultimately MTs should be hired for their skill and experience, not how much debt is being carried.

I do understand the dilemma, but honestly, start looking for a job that does pay during this period. I know of many companies that unfortunately play games with your pay and I've been watching one do this for five years now and remarkably he is still in business because while he does eventually make good on his promise to pay, he wreaks havoc on those who work for him constantly. People like this should be shut down, but as long as his contractors keep playing along with him, he will continue.
I dont think you will make more than that for clinic work.
I make 10 cpl at the Q, but have been there 12 years and was at that rate when my prior company was bought out.
There are people who make that, but not for clinic work and probably not for just starting at a company. I have been applying like crazy and the best I came up with was 8 cpl for Basic 4 and 9 cpl for straight OPs.
Thats 15 years experience.
You have to wonder if the supervisors that dont care about no work are always

They throw you into a pool that they have overhired for and there is not enough work to go around... then they cry and complain when youre not hitting your production. Yeah, yeah, I'm sure they are bombarded with people testing, but when you think of the hours spent for MTs trying to find a new job, and they take all those MTtest.com tests while still trying to work all day, only never to hear a peep back is hard to take. A simple thanks, but no thanks would go a long way in my book. I am sick of wasting my time.

Then by all means, hire on with Keystrokes. I had just started with them but after I saw my review, I told them I did not want to work for them. They nit-pick every comma, etc., to death and there was no way I was going to put up with that. These services get so carried away by all the insignificant crap that they just drive away anyone who is a good MT but doesn't want to put up with the nit-picking. Good luck.
Maybe they dont answer because there is no work to get.Best way to avoid things I guess.
