I didn't even notice your post buried below until you said something. It could be that you have gotten no responses because this is the Company board and most everyone on here works for a Company and I would have to guess most of us have never had our own accounts, so no advice to give. The only thing I know about it is you can walk into an office and give them info about your services or you can mail it, then you have to work out how you are getting the dictations (tapes, digital, etc.), how they want it back to them (sent in a file over the internet, printed and delivered, etc.). If they take a week of vacation you have no work for a week. If they fall behind and then play catchup then you work all night to get it back within TAT. Then there is the whole billing and taxes thing to deal with. I've never been interested in the headache, even if I could get paid a bit more.
