considered an elective or experimental procedure by most companies and is not covered. I guess eyesight is optional nowadays too. My insurance covers a bit of it, but not near enough to make it feasible for me. I'm 20/400 in my left eye -- my ophthalmologist asked me to call him and warn him if I go out driving without my contacts (smile)
I truly hope you find a company that will cover at least the most expensive parts of the IVF. I have friends who want a baby and cannot seem to achieve that goal, and my heart goes out to them, as it does to you. Good luck!
