Thanks so much! Does anyone know if Instant Text will work with Enterprise also. The recruiter who offered me a job was fuzzy on that. Any webmedx employees who would like to E-mail me opinions, etc., I would deeply appreciate it.

Any companies that use Enterprise platform like Webmedx? nm

Enterprise Platform
Does anyone here use the Enterprise platform and if so, is it fast? Using DocQScribe and moving to Enterprise - can anyone compare the 2?
I'm on the Enterprise platform
They had me use their computer. I have the family insurance, including medical, dental, and vision. I do approximately 9000 to 10,000 lines a week when work isn't slow (which isn't often on my 2 accounts) or I'm not dealing with any sick kids (this winter has been AWFUL).
At Webmedx, Enterprise does this. nm

Webmedx, Enterprise
I do Radiology on Enterprise for Webmedx and run out of work on a daily basis. I enjoy working on Enterprise, there is just not enough work. I also work on Chartmatrix, but prefer Enterprise.
How was the platform? Enterprise sucks
big time. E-mail said TransHealth had a good platform and they would take the best of both.
Anyone else having trouble getting into Enterprise for Webmedx today?
Called Solution Center and they say it's a router issue, wait it out? Just wondering if others are having this problem. Thanks!
Would like to hear opinions....sm
What would you do ........... offered an employee hospital position, at home, hourly base pay, plus shift differential, plus benefits, plus tiered line incentive on top of hourly rate.... Would you give up your IC status and client(s) for this?
Of course, I will try to keep the IC status until I know it is going to work out, but that always scares me a little, thinking will I be able to keep up with it, back to working 12-14 hour days.
Feeling secure knowing I have the job, plus a little insecure wondering, well what happens if........
Been in this business way too long I think and I have never been insecure about anything, what the heck is happening to me?
I love shorthand
Its compatible with everything because it runs independently. So you can be doing email or Word, or WP or be working on a specific platform and it will work for you.
Diskriter, Webmedx (Enterprise side), Focus (maybe - haven't looked at their adds in a while).
nm
Their platform is proprietary and you can use Shorthand...sm
with it, or ShortCut. Those 2 I know for sure are compatible. I really like the platform - it's called ChartMatrix. It keeps a running total of your lines as you type, so you know right where your production is at any given time. They pay for headers, footers and spaces which is great.
Come and join us!
Work for them, they use Shorthand and platform sm
is Acuity at least on my particular account.
Their own platform. Shorthand, Word based. nm

Opinions - Webmedx
I'm trying to pull together a pros/cons list for Webmedx and the possibility of looking into employment there, so I thought I would put it out there for the experts - - those of you who either work there now or have in the past. My major areas of concern surround:
1. Amount/line (average - - for 30+ years experience).
2. Reliability of work not running out.
3. Reliability of being paid.
4. Benefits. How long does it take for them to kick in once employed.
5. Amount of work, if any, being outsourced.
6. Amount of work within the company involved with voice recognition.
7. Is it mandatory to do voice recognition or can you remain a traditional MT?
8. If traditional MT is an option, is the result dictation you wouldn't want to give your worst enemy?
I think those are just a few to highlight at the moment. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I love Shorthand and could not type without it anymore! I think it is very similar to PRD. sm
Remember the good ole days of PRD+ and WP5.1??
.12 gross line
No platforms.
Those were the days :)
Opinions on Oracle? Good pay? Platform? THX
Sounds like you are talking about ExText - I love it. I use my shorthand AND the built-in ESP.
nm
It is their own platform but not word based. Shorthand is the macro stuff.
Pretty decent place to work.
Reputable company w/ platform compatible w/ InstanText/Shorthand
Am heavily dependent on sophisticated Expanders that incorporate code script, like ShortHand and InstanText. Can anyone recommend reputable employers whose platforms are compatible with these programs?
Golden Isle..need opinions on their platform. How hard is it ...sm
to make 1000 lines a day?
Thanks for the help!
Opinions on Webmedx lack of work.
Have been there for 2 years now. The benefits, pay, etc., are enough to keep you hanging in, but their slow-downs have been consistent and becoming more and more frequent. The new accounts in the last conference call appear to have not materialized for the most part. Still a decent place to work, but a tenuous situation. My STM behaves as if this happens every year everywhere. We all know that is not true.
Have interviews with Axolotl and Webmedx. Need opinions from CURRENT MTs about their future
I have interviews for an Acute Care MT position (employee, not IC) with both Axolotl and Webmedx and would like some CURRENT feedback before I make a decision. Have been an Acute Care MT for over 30 years and want to “plant” myself at my LAST job before retirement. Getting too old to keep going through these testing/interview processes.
I have researched both Axolotl and Webmedx and to no surprise the poster either hates 'em or loves 'em. It seems like both companies have gone through some major changes during 2006 and plan more changes in the future – good or bad – depending on who is replying. From preliminary information, they seem to be comparable in pay, both provide the computer, insurance is reasonable at both, and other benefits are close to identical, which is making it hard for me to swing one way or the other without more information.
I would really appreciate either a post or E-Mail from CURRENT (or newly former) employees of Axolotl and Webmedx with their opinion as to if they feel reasonably confident they can continue to make a comfortable living over the next few years (or at least not have drastic downward changes in their future incomes), where they think their employers are going in the future, if they are comfortable with the direction they are taking (job security), and if they think they will still be working for the company in say 5 to 10 years (or at least plan to, baring unforeseen circumstances). Any information you care to share on ESL and achieving/maintaining minimum lines per pay period would also be helpful. Any other information you would care to share would also be greatly appreciated in my attempt to decide the PROS and CONS of these two companies.
Needless to say, I would love to hear any negatives in case I need to go in a totally different direction. Any former employees who would care to share why they left would be very insightful too.
Any information you have will certainly help in my decision making. Thank you in advance.
WebMedx versus MedScribe--Opinions? Can you use Instant Text?
Don't want to go to a situation
Wow. Aren't you nasty? You clearly can't tolerate others' opinions. If webmedx folks are li
Ick.
Anyone turned down offers at Amphion, Axolotl or Webmedx - would like honest opinions
I would like to hear from any MTs who have recently (within the past month or two) turned down offers or changed their minds about applying at Amphion, Axolotl, and Webmedx. I have heard that each of those companies have been going through some major changes recently which could affect the atmosphere there. For example, Amphion, I hear, has lost quite a few MTs. Axolotl is bringing on so many new accounts everyone works OT every week. Webmedx is going to be converting to speech recognition and the way their work is being assigned has changed recent.
I decided to throw out a wider net and have been contacted by Amphion, Axolotl, and Webmedx to do testing and interviews. That's a lot of my time. Since current employees love the place and former employees hate the place, I was trying to figure out a way to get some honest opinions about these companies before I go through all the testing and interviewing. I thought maybe if I could hear from MTs who already went through the process and changed their minds that might be useful information.
I'd like to know why you decided against going with the company, if there is a specific reason -- hours, pay, benefits, bad vibes from the interviewer? Any honest opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Would love to hear how your new job is going
Sharmz, I would really appreciate any update. I think that would help me a lot in deciding which way to go. Thanks so much for your post. Good Luck on your new position.
I sent you an email; but I'd love to hear about this - sm
radio receiver thing. How does it work? What do I need to get it? We have a huge radio antenee on one side of the house that the previous owner used for some sort of radio transmitting, ham radio operator or something like that. Love to learn more and see if this is a way I could get high-speed.
I would love to hear which companies would pay more.
I applied for several but that was the best I could do.
Paladin Retrieval? Would love to hear from
Do they pay timely? Direct deposit? Any info is appreciated.
Definately call. They will love to hear from you and

I love it.. and I see and hear a lot of positive things...
I do not know why the poster below says to get everything in writing; I have been a part of Transcend since 2003 and I really do love it. No issues, good communication, good pay. I have been in this industry a long time and have heard (and seen firsthand) a lot of horror stories. You cannot please everyone, but my experience has been very good. Feel free to e-mail me directly
Now, did you hear me say I didn't love him? I just have a man who wants to pamper me and why not.
I have my own money too kiddo, I'm not that dumb! I have a great man and a great life here and I'm loving it! Lots of love, lots of free time and more importantly, not slaving at the computer for peanuts!
Anybody work for PMSI? Would love to hear your experience.
xxxxx
Let's hear from the MTs that love their companies, their jobs and have a great line count
I love where I work, happy with line count, happy with earning potential. Love being an MT and working at home. You???
I've used both PC SH & Instant Text and they are comparable ... would love to hear comparison (s
Shorthand (or my version of it) seems to have a compatibility problem with the Bayscribe platform Expander ...so I just use ShortHand (I don't know if it's just my quite old version or not) ...
I switched from Instant Text to Shorthand when the in-house Meditech job I was working agreed to install Shorthand for the department.
I believe they both have 90 day or some such downloadable trials.
If you have more than one computer, it's not a bad idea to buy the disk and documentation so if you need/want to reinstall it, it's there ... though that may be old school thinking on my part.
Good luck.
Would like to hear from recent WEBMEDX employees. Good/bad/ugly? (nm)
LOVE the platform!
I love ExText! It's one of my favorite platforms. I have honestly never had any problems with it before.
I love the ES platform....
Some of the dictators on my account are so dang great, at times I just put the speed all the way up and can just listen through and upload it...AMAZING platform with the right dictators!
The Enterprise side uses Enterprise. nm
I LOVE the platform, the rest is what I do not like
I second that!!
Webmedx MTs, how is the platform?? - NM

Can anyone tell me what platform Webmedx uses?
Is the platform nice/easy, like DQS? Appreciate any comments.
WEBMEDX PLATFORM
Webmedx uses their own proprietary platform - the Enterprise platform - and Instant Text does work with it!
Webmedx platform help please
Hi,
I'm new to Webmedx and am having trouble navigating part of their platform and have yet to reach anybody there for help.
If you're familiar with it, can you shoot me an e-mail? Thanks.
Webmedx Platform
I am a disgruntled MQ employee, like most others from the company these days, and have a position available to me at Webmedx. However, the pay is much lower than I am making at the Q. My question is, how is the platform at Wedmedx and if anyone has been on DocQScribe and can compare it to the Enterprise platform at Webmedx, I'd so appreciate it.
What is WEBMEDX's platform?
.
WebMedx platform
I worked for them briefly, very VERY nice people, solid account, the platform was so ponderous and clumsy I bailed. I'm used to pushing out 200 lines an hour and lucky to get half that... archives were awkward as well.
Maybe they are like me, love the platform, but can't make money with it
xx
Love ExText platform but not sure about companies as I'm an IC. nm
x
Love my platform...hate the company
I currently work for DSG and love DocQscribe.
Which platform are you referring to? They have several. I LOVE mine!!! nm
