I wonder

Just wondering what happened to this business. I can't type the amount of lines I used to and not sure why, other than no pay for headers or footers. I was gone from the business for a couple of years, but I remember the days when we didn't have time clocks, we worked with the flow of work ~ sometimes I would work 12 hours .. take a break and go back for more, faithfully getting the work done. This business does not flow in a regular flow. I know there used to be complaints about overtime and the like ~ was this all taken to court for labor laws or union type things? javascript:editor_insertHTML('text',''); This isn't the type of work where you can sit for 8 hours as in an office ~ not for many years anyway ~ it's not healthy to do so either. You risk poor circulation, PE, carpal tunnel, RIS, all kinds of things. I haven't found a company who is lax enough and consequently, I'm sure, as mine does, they fall far behind at times because of the rigid rules.

I've had health insurance in the past 26 years for 1 year and that's the year I had a second job outside and did MT part time (single mom). I worked statutory before with MQ and now just can't keep my line count high enough to be full time. It freaks me out that i used to do 200 to 250 an hour and now I struggle to get 135 .. at the same rate.

I also wonder sometimes how these managers get their jobs .. we get email sent out all the time with spelling and grammar errors ... javascript:editor_insertHTML('text',''); Ah well .. I'll be ready for my Social Security teeny tiny payments soon to supplement my little checks I'm surviving on.
