I used Vianeta at good old Interpro Transcription (sm)

and the platform was horrible - nothing but problems - but Tech Support was excellent!! The platform did not work with Windows 98 ME, for me (about 2-3 years ago), plus the line counts were inaccurat. Actually, I believe Interpro's line count was inaccurate - a separate issue. I got to the point where I copied every single report to Word and used another line counter (Sylvan ?), but every check I received from Interpro was underpaid by $50+.

Vianeta is a company, too. Our MTSO paid Vianeta to use their platform.

InterPro is really not a good place to go! sm
I've been there and the company is just too disorgnaized, and it will never get any better "because" of the poor management and because they are out to make a quick buck by sending mostly all work to India or wherever else they can get cheap labor. I can really understand sending a small portion over there but these companies that thrive off India really have very poor quality, want reports done too quickly, and it's really just not a good business. I dont' really think that InterPro will carry on too long.
Any current information on Interpro- good or bad. Thanks
nm
Does anyone have any info on whether InterPro is good company to work for?
I am trying to decide between them and an acute care smaller company. Does anybody know if they are a good company?
Thanks
Vianeta
Are you with InterPro or another company? I have experience with Vianeta.
Vianeta bad, bad sm
I am currently working Vianeta. My line count has NEVER worked. I MT and edit. To get line count I have to paste finished document onto a blank Word document. Then I can use Word's counter to get a line count. I have to do this with EVERY job if I want any idea what my count is. Very time consuming. If I leave the Vianeta window open for a certain amount of time without actually working in it, it does all kinds of strange things so I have to exit and re-enter to straighten things out. Also, I you accidently u/l job before you are ready, too bad. You have to try to find someone who can retrieve it for you, hopefull before the client gets it. My other job is a Word based platorm. I d/l into a folder and when I want to send it off, I u/l from the same folder. Also, their spell check is HORRIBLE. That is another reason I d/l onto a Word doc, so I can use Work spell check. I didn't realize what a pain Vianeta actually is until I wrote this.

No to the recruiter question. Just somebody who has been using the platform exclusively for three years, trying to share my experience with it in response to the original post. No hidden agenda and no commercial audition.
With that said, it might be useful to try to figure out why there seem to be such diverse opinions and experiences with the platform. I agree with anon3 that it is bizarre and that part of the answer must be that different companies use the system in different ways...especially when access to line count and productivity information is involved.
I first started typing on Vianeta 3 years ago on an earlier version which earned my same praise. The update came along 1-1/2 years ago. There could be obsolete versions out there still in use, who knows? Don't know the earlier version number, but the current server I use is version 5.2.0.12. That information appears in very small print on the top left corner or my job explorer screen.
In any case, as soon as you log into Vianeta on my platform the job explorer comes up. Your queue is there immediately with jobs waiting, job#, dictator#, time dictated, priority status all clearly indicated. All this info is already on your report when you bring it up, along with patient demo info. To feed the reports completely into a 4-report queue takes about 3 seconds. To me, that's pretty fast. Once they are there, when you sign a job off, another job takes its place with no waiting time whatsoever.
On the queue screen at the top, I have options such as working on line (active transcribing and transmitting) or off line. This is specifically useful when all you want to do is check your line count or review your production for the ongoing pay period, current month or current and previous month...all readily accessible information. There are also log out, assign job, split job (for batch dictations) change job info (when the MD enters the wrong report info) options...all taken care of in a very minimal amount of time, I might add.
Another option is to type from the Job Explorer (which is what my commpany uses) or from the transcribe station which I have never used. To the side of the queue there is a Nav bar which gives you Job Explorer/Transcribe station choice on the top...and to the bottom you find a report tab. Click on that, then another block comes up on the nav bar for productivity feedback which I click again.
Once I enter that, I am given a choice to either generate a graph report (which I do after almost every report if I want to) or I can get it to download the more detailed report which I save to a word document. I do that if I suspect a report is missing, it helps me track it down. That report usually has a list of the last 2 or 3 days of reports, job numbers, sign-off time and line count.
When you enter a report, your demo screen with all the information already showing n the report if the doctor has entered the MR# correctly. If you have to look up patient or doctor info, send cc to other doctors or leave QA flags it is done from that screen. You can search the patient data base and the MD roster a number of ways. There is even a sound's like feature in the MD roster data base.
I find the patient info data to be almost 100% reliable and the MD roster data to be about 95% reliable. It certainly helps me cut down a lot of time searching MD lists elsewhere. The ONLY bone I have to pick with that place is that the MD specialty does not show, but you can search the roster by first name, last name, specialty and hospital.
Once the missing info is found, I double click the bar and it is automatically transferred to the demo screen and onto the report...no typing involved.
The word processing features of the system are excellent, Word based...but can be set for WordPerfect formats and others. The spell check is excellent help....especially in distinguishing between generic and name brand drugs. It can be modified and added very easily.
If you don't have those features then you are not on the same Vianeta platform. One last thing. I remember when I hired that my TM told me they never use the transcriber station because it is so cumbersome.
Vianeta
We obvious have a difference between companies. My Vianeta has maybe 1 in 4 medications that it will pick up. Transpose two letters in a work and most of the time it will miss that.
We will be using Vianeta soon. It has already been sm
tested by several MT's, who just love it and have been able to increase their line count. How amazing!!!!
PS
Probably why Busy MT got out while the going was good.
Vianeta-THanks...can you tell me more
MT friendly, fast, pros and cons. TIA.
Its Vianeta (nm)
Vianeta
Has anyone worked for a company that used Vianeta software. If so can you tell me a little about it.
vianeta and IP
Amen to that, adios, hasta LA vista....too many other places to work. who needs the headaches that they have, and they have many, thats for sure.
they use Vianeta too
The up side: I liked the Vianeta platform. Nice people. They left me alone (that's the way I like it) but I was IC...employee status could be different. I never had any QA hassles and enjoyed flexibility. Trained on as many accounts as I needed to stay busy. Never ran out of work. I could work as much or as little as I wanted. Line rate was decent (10 cpl, including shift differential for evenings).
The down side: First year or so was good, but eventually ended up with so many TERRIBLE ESLs (some were downright impossible), no matter how hard I worked, could not pay the bills. You may get lucky if you can manage to dodge those accounts.
Might be worth a try. Good luck to you with whatever you decide.
Question about Vianeta. sm
Anyone use or has currently use this awful software? I just started a job using it and my line counts are SO LOW!!!!! When I compared the line count in other programs, it is just not right! I don't think I will be with this particular company long at all.
Vianeta = Crap

VIANETA PLATFORM-DO YOU LIKE?
Anyone have experience with this platform? TIA.
vianeta users
Anyone out there know of MTSO's using Vianeta and need out?
Vianeta is a little flaky, sm
but is really easy to use. This particular company, from what I have read over the past few days, is not something I would want to get involved with.
Response ria Vianeta below. sm
It is a total platform. It works differently on different company systems. Overall it is good, but it can cut out a lot. Word clone. Not hard to get used to.
Vianeta Platform
Can anyone provide any insight to the Vianeta Platform? Any info appreciated!
TIA
I used Vianeta at 2 different companies.
One job you couldn't do line counts, the other company you could, using a different program. Both companies Vianeta spellcheck so bad, had to copy to a Word document and use my own spellcheck. This is what the companies told us to do!
Anyone know of any MTSO's using Vianeta
Anyone out there know of any MTSO's using Vianeta software? Could you let me know?
Vianeta was awful...
They still had Vianeta when I left, also another bad platform. The person who you were referring to as the sister (will not name) has been in and out of the office because of the issues you mentioned. I liked her, but the day I had my interview she was screaming at someone over the phone and I almost did not take the job there because of it! I think it is a good company for MTs because of the pay, if you can get an account that has good work on it.
How bizarre! Vianeta was the previous sm
platform used by my employer. I actually liked it. There were some days when it was slow, but overall I would not be afraid to use it. Different companies use it, so it must be tweaked for the individual companies I would imagine.
How is Vianeta platform like to work on?
zz
I like Vianeta. Easy to use and fast.
Good support with my co
Any thoughts on Vianeta Platform
Please give opinions on Vianeta Platform. Does it give you good line counts.
I used to work for a company who had Vianeta.
The platform was pretty good for me. All the DI screen info was filled in for you, and you just added the date of service. It was nice...compared to where I am working now where I have endless areas to fill in. Blech! I liked Vianeta!
Vianeta question on tech board. TIA. nm

Vianeta also bad spellchecker. Were told to type

I did not work for Spheris when I used Vianeta. It was a differenc company. nm

Interpro
No new info because everything is still the same. No way to track line count, management has no idea what they are doing. But having said that, they have just done major overhaul,so that may improve except they have left some of the originals in place, so it may not work out after all. They pay good but no one will stay. I think that says alot about a company. Also, they use Vianeta, a bad platform with a horrible spell-check.
Interpro
Had a call from one of their recruiters, asked her if they were an American company to which she answered yes. But I was a bit wary when I went on their website interprobps.com and saw that the CEO was someone by the name of
Bala Ramamoorthy, which does not sound American at all but most likely indian.
Interpro
Has any one worked for Interpro? A lady called Podius is recruiting. I would appreciate any scoop. I am planning to switch from my hospital position to at-home. ...SB
Interpro
I worked for them for a little while. It was terrible. The doctors are all bad. My friend did QA and they paid her production.
interpro
run like your butt is on fire........
interpro
can anyone give me any information about interpro? thanks
Interpro
I work for Interpro and have for about a year now. I have no complaints. The people are nice, the management is friendly and easy to work with. If I need samples, etc, they are more than happy to help out.

Interpro
I worked for them over a year ago. Platform slow and cumbersome. Micromanaged every aspect. I think they have gotten rid of some middle management, which could only be a good thing. I have since worked for worse companies. Might be just what you are looking for, wasn't for me. It is offshore owned, which I am finding is definately not a good thing for US workers. Thinking I will stick to US owned companies. A world of difference how MT/ED are treated.
Interpro
A year ago, everything was wrong with Interpro - paychecks were severely docked, jobs missing..turned out that management was stealing the company blind - the HR director was the CEO's sister; the CEO's husband was in charge of finances and payroll and the managers for the individual teams were the CEO's best friends. The company was THE WORST. In the past year, they cleaned out and got rid of the bad management and theft. That improved. However, the system - Vianeta - is still of bad sound quality, hard to understand sometimes, slow and cumbersome as stated above. The employees and current management are nothing but team players, honest, and available to help you.
What's Up With InterPro
Can anyone tell me what's the deal with InterPro. I took the test, the recruiter (like all it seems) was thrilled, and now no phone call. Is this worth it, pay-wise, work-wise, etc?????
interpro
can anyone tell me anything good or bad about this company? considering applying with them and would like a heads up about them.
thanks in advance
InterPro
Also InterPro Medical Services.....email me if you want contact email. They are hiring right now.
InterPro
Looking to get out of the Q and transcriptionmatchmaker.com has said that InterPro has everything I want/need out of an employer, and that the management has changed for the better in recent times. I know the posts have all been resounding bad on them in the archives. I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about them now and in the last 6 months. Help me ease my mind a bit!!
Interpro
I worked for them a while back - like 5 years ago. They paid well at that time, .11 cpl but their platform for most accounts was Vianeta - can you say horrible! Their insurance rates were good BUT what I see now they are offering like 8 cpl and are under new management - so things have changed as far as compensation. I started at 9 cpl and went up to 11, but only because platform was so slow. Ask many, many questions.
InterPro
I worked for them for a couple of months which I enjoyed. They let me go due to inexperience, which I truely was. The pay was on-time and the support team was great. I don't know if that helps, but good luck.
InterPro
Does anyone have any information regarding InterPro Medical Solutions. I have a phone interview with them coming up and was wondering if they are worthy employer.
Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated...
Using Vianeta to do our work is comparable to eating soup with a fork!
