I never heard from them. Then eight months later I got a call from a recruiter who offered me 7.5 cpl which I refuse to work for. The recruiter told me that they offer everyone the same pay, newbie or experienced. Didn't think that was fair so I further refused to work for them.
It seems that all these companies want VERY EXPERIENCED, RELIABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE MTs with their own equipment/programs/high speed internet, but don't want to pay for the knowledge or expertise.
Their mail system has been down. Y not call them?

This is not something that Transcend does. They do value their employees. MT Stars is probably not the best place to post if you really like the company but are truly looking for answers. The Transcend MLS forum is also an excellent place to look. If you cannot get an answer, please e-mail me, I have been with Transcend for years. Hope this helps.
They were still interviewing last week--wouldn't hurt to call or E-Mail
As far as I know they are still looking for Acute Care MTs, but I don't know how many they just hired or what kind of hours, FT/PT they still have available. Could be that they are still looking for a couple more. Sure wouldn't hurt to go to their website and call or E-Mail. If they are still hiring, they may be jammed with applications, so if they do not respond right away that is probably a good sign and you should keep trying. They are worth the effort to talk with them.

I thought the test was very easy. I've got 18-years of experience, sent a cover letter (that I spent an hour on) in addition to my resume and got not response whatsoever. The least an MTSO could do is say, Thanks, but no thanks. Daily applications, cover letters, and testing without so much as an email is beyond frustrating!

my take on the e-mail
e-mail (free) blanketing anyone who gets on an MT mailing list looking for unskilled (low pay) workers to churn out poor quality work for big profits. Sounds right out of a get rich book to me. Standard operating procedure for most companies in transcription biz.

I understand what you mean and I would hate to have so many accounts. Things have definitely gone from bad to worse at OSi recently when I thought they couldn't. There has to be a better way for both of us.

Then they said it was lost, then they said I had the dates wrong on when they should pay, then it was if you don't get it by Friday, we will send it by UPS overnight, of course after the weekend had gone by and so on... At first, they bounced a check, by the time they made that good, the next check was due, and by the time they sent me another bogus check the third was due... and then I quit and the other one came due at that point... so here I am today with work done in July and they still have not paid me. They don't intend to either. For your sake, watch your back!
