Great company, great people, great pay...can't ask for more than that...I am lucky that I get to be home for my children too...

:-) My new employer just emailed me and said I was getting too many crap dictations and offered to send me nice stuff. Wasn't that nice? I'm loving my new job.

Sounds like MTMAN struck a nerve. :-) -- Hey it happens on here. This board to is post viewpoints. Some are true and some are not.
But...my sister was with Cymed and then moved into spi. She was an account manager and resigned her position after working with her upper management and seeing the lack of appreciation for the backbones (MTs) of their company. With such a percentage of work being sent offshore...Cymed is missed.
I am a happy camper, too.
I would suggest you get your answers by calling TT and asking them directly. I will say that TT has been nothing but extremely good to me, and I have never not gotten my lines/hours and have never waited for work 24/7. I am quite happy and satisfied with them.

Webmedx - Not Everyone Is A Happy Camper.... sm
For the last few days I've been reading a lot of posts about Webmedx; some good, some bad. I work there part time now, as full time was turning out not to be worth my time. And now this morning I received an email about "cherrypicking". And there are a lot of cherrypickers at this company. Believe me I have seen it!!!
I read one post where the MT was oh so happy to be with Webmedx for 8 years; then read a reply by another MT questioning her status within the company. I agree 100% that she is more than likely management or close to management. There are not that many MTs at Webmedx that have 8+ years with the company. Webmedx also made some changes within management, as I got that email the other day. It does seem as though they are more interested in the $$$$$$$$$$$$ than the MTs that work for them.
They also do not answer your emails in a timely manner. Every time I have a question, it is days before I get an answer. And, I'd like to know why some MTs say they have a flexible schedule?? Not true at all! Even being part time I had to submit a schedule of days and times I would be working, and if you're not working within those scheduled hours you get asked 'where are you. Why aren't you working?'
I don't like it when recruiters or employees sugar-coat the company they work for.
I'm only staying with Webmedx because I'm in the process of transitioning to another job with another company; one that I had worked for before. I feel a change is what I need now and I'm hoping that Webmedx gets their act together soon, as they are losing MTs and I know this for a fact because I have 3 friends who are leaving/left during the month of May, and I probably won't be there much past June/July.

Anxiously awaiting gift from TT; hope it is their usual in a larger amount. Don't need cookies, what-nots, etc. as some companies send to their MT's. Love that monetary stuff!

We have 4 little girls, so benefits were very important to us. Very good coverage, low copays and deductibles. Good luck :-)

move on if it is not the right fit for you...there are plenty of other companies out there...

I can't say enough nice things about this company; very flexible, you area a statutory employee. That means that they pay the employer portion of your SS. Great on time pay, tons of work. Do your lines and you are left alone! Expect to be responsible though. Pay for your phone; rent a Lanier or a C-phone if you don't have one; BayScribe platform. Anything that is a bit of an inconvenience is more than made up for. You will know to the minute how much you will make and how many lines you have typed. Check it out!
Does anyone think 41 is too old to go to nursing school. I love MT but I just would love to be a

Love Bayscribe and love the pay
At 11 cpl I love working for MDI Maryland. Bayscribe is a breeze. The lines build up so quickly. Everything is right there on the page. Sometimes, you have to fill in patient data, but who cares.... you do get paid for it. No holiday or vacation pay as it is an IC position. It beats 8 and 9 cpl any day. IMO

i've long been dismayed with the direction in which this profession has gone, and i agree with the person who posted that women have accepted substandard wages and/or unfair IC or employment situations. It's very sad to see how, when outsourcing became the norm, women did not adequately negotiate to, you know, pay their bills!!! It seems this has resulted in lots of undercutting and lower line rates for everyone. I see some companies slowly improving and not requiring crazy line counts and hours in exchange for paying into health insurance. i entered this profession as a single female. i married an engineer and was living mighty comfy and cushy and happily doing 4 hours at 11 cpl in the late 90s. didn't have to worry about not having bennies at all. now as a single mom with a young child, i truly struggle. but i do love my work and hold out for my specialty to keep the line count up. still, i see the glaring problems and it's just a shame. if there were an MT union, i'd join in a heartbeat. no time/energy to start one and be some kind of norma rae, though!

Positive experience for me. Two years later, still happy, still busy, still meeting 300+ lines an hour. To each his own... guess it's jump on Diskriter is crap band wagon again day. On any given day, one company or another is being ripped a new one on these sites.
Probably one of the best. I'm happy there.

I am very, very happy at OSi. I left a company where I had been a IC for over 8 years and went with OSi as an employee. I have had no regrets. I think some people say QA is snooty because they expect a job to be done right and often times it isn't. We have access to all reports typed on our accounts and to tell you the truth, it's amazing how some of these MTs got hired.
I love the platform, pay is always on time and often incentives create huge paychecks. They are very professional and very flexible. No cons as far as I can see.

There are some that still like Transcend. i understand that others have valid complaints, but not everyone there experiences the same issues. Some of us are really telling the truth when they say they are happy.

Yes I make 1 cent less than what FOCUS would hire me on for at their top pay. In exchange I get to work with an amazing company who treats me with respect, knows who i am, who my children are, listens to what i have to say and so much more. It is worth the cent to work for a great company.

The fact that you can get enraged so easily when other people express opinions contrary to your own tells me that you are indeed in need of a little Zoloft, Xanax, or maybe just a good dose of reality. Yes Cbay is still around and going strong, more work than I can handle lately. They do hire US MTs. Everyone knocks them for sending work overseas but what company doesn't these days? I am very happy with them and pay is on time every 2 weeks! They pay my bills so I really wouldn't care if they sent the work to the moon!

You will read a lot of negativity, but this is something that you will have to decide on your own. I am very happy there. Sure, they aren't perfect, but no company is. Let me know if you want more information.

I have 2 good accounts with steady work, love BayScribe, like my team leader, and good pay that is always on time. I do agree with the above poster who says she feels they may be overhiring on some accounts to keep them in TAT. However, I haven't seen overstaffing on my accounts (yet)!

Don't work on MANTIS but this company is really, really growing by leaps and bounds - even made the Fortune 500 top growing companies in the US. Great people (really nice) and a refreshing change from the Big Guys. Pay is generally $1.10 regular and $2.25 special - really nice accounts too. Check 'em out!
