I don't work for Premier, but do understand what she is saying. I have been troubled by the fact that the company I do work for seems to be getting work from other companies (I wouldn't have known had I not had to sign confidentiality contracts for companies I did not work for or received forwarded emails from companies I did not work for). I have applied a few times to other companies and twice found that those companies actually get work from the company I work for! This is confusing. That puts two companies between me, an MT, and the actual client I transcribe for. So, I think that is why I get paid so little. Are there any companies out there that have their own accounts and MTs exclusively?
