Did anyone bother to notice that while the Democrats were preaching during the elections against offshoring jobs, that they were accepting megabucks from George Soros, the man who put part of his personal fortune up to defeat Bush..and the man who engineered the latest Spheris happenings only because he wanted an already established transcription base in India?

Basically, it means that the ownership of Spheris is part of the elite power structure that wants total dominion over the useless eaters, i.e. slave class. That means that its employees will always be working in slave conditions while the (globalist) corporates do their part to force us to compete with India and other Turd World countries in order to drive U.S. wages down. All of this is done to level the playing field, which is the goal of globalists. And it's all packaged nice and pretty in the wrapping and ribbon of free trade, which is anything but -- it is managed trade, and it is to our detriment.
This is what the New World Order is all about -- taking the Colossus (the United States) down while building up Turd World countries such as Mexico, China, Pakistan, and India. As I stated in my answer to him, I was suspicious that the entire drama was contrived for whatever self-serving reasons the posters had, which is why I felt if he were being sincere, he could contact me himself (which he never did). If you will notice, MTPockets put (sp?) next to his name on her response. In another post on another board, she boasts of putting together a QA program for a national MTSO. This could all just be coindience but it does make a person go hmmm when George starts off being concerned for breech in HIPAA compliance and then slithers into a proposal of my helping clear up misinformation about his company. I don't rah-rah for any company that I know nothing about. Had I bitten and sent those reports to him through this web site, I would have been banned for life by the TOS. So people got upset with my answer (their problem) but I'm not banned and I'm not cheerleading a company who offshores and allegedly does what it does.

They're okay. They are hiring. They have benefits. Decent living? Bawhahahahahahaha! If you give them everything you've got you won't have anything left.
Spheris is okay. They are only slightly less evil than the others. None of these companies are much good. It's the nature of the beast. If you go with a national you sell your soul to the devil for benefits.
I'm getting ready to depart the transcription field. I held on at Spheris for a little over a year, but I keep getting moved to new accounts (a common complaint) and can't get used to a new account long enough to make any money. I've worked for all the major companies and I'm burned out. So go ahead and try other companies. Sooner or later it's all the same thing. You just can't make a decent living at this and it gets worse all the time. So it's not just Spheris - it's the field of transcription that's a problem.

our company has also picked up several million dollars worth of business that MQ used to have because of the clients either having been overbilled by MQ or fears that they would be with all of the legal problems MQ is having. Other current MQ clients are getting bids for when their contracts expire so I expect the MQ "tumble" to continue.

I stayed with Spheris for as long as I possibly could, and pleaded with them for more work. I was without work more than I was with work. It was a nightmare. They have very poor communication and I ended up in a big hole because of them. They tell you one thing and then do another.

I was going to apply to them about 3 years ago before I got my MQ gig... Would you say that they treat their employees fair and not bounce them from account to account? Do they change their employees schedule like crazy? I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and maybe answer me back... lol! I am a single mother so MONEY is really important right now. Spheris is a privately held company, there are no shareholders
I suspect this report is bogus.
Their latest press release says they are planning on increasing their domestic work force at the same time as their overseas one, to match their aggressive pursuit of new accounts. (Personally I think they ought to concentrate on servicing the ones they have.)

Don't imply you're worried at all. Just stating fact that Spheris does NOT allow a Spheris MT
work concurrently for MQ - no exceptions. MQ, on the other hand, does not have the same feelings as Spheris. Just all I had to say so that MTs aren't misled into thinking they can do the same "legally". Even went to the ropes on this issue with Spheris, as I was professional as well, and wouldn't share info, etc. The point they raised was that MQ is their direct #1 competition, and if I was typing for MQ and doing great work, that was in direct conflict of interest with Spheris' best interests. Guess which one I obviously stuck with!!

All I can say is that his personal interview about his high school reunion has a distinctly different style than his late January postings in which he degrenates the poster he tries to engage. 6 months and already have 40 hours PTO. I was shocked. Spheris is a great company. After 90 days I did get my sign on bonus and didn't even have to ask. There is soooooooooooooooo much that Spheris offer I wasn't even aware of. I am so glad that I didn't listen to the negative posts on this board in regards to Spheris because I am a happy camper.
