Why do you think MTs knowledge would be devalued more if they do VR? Do you not think it takes as much knowledge to do that as in straight transcription? I read things on here, like yours, that are really laughable. You have to be slow, you have to be new at this, you have to not know how to get in out of the rain and on and on. It takes every bit as much to do editing as in straight. It does not become mindless when the report is there- you still have to know what to do and just anyone off the street would not know how to do either straight or VR.
