Yep, eight months. Yes, I did call them and e-mail them SM
I never heard from them. Then eight months later I got a call from a recruiter who offered me 7.5 cpl which I refuse to work for. The recruiter told me that they offer everyone the same pay, newbie or experienced. Didn't think that was fair so I further refused to work for them.
It seems that all these companies want VERY EXPERIENCED, RELIABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE MTs with their own equipment/programs/high speed internet, but don't want to pay for the knowledge or expertise.
I left SPi 8 months ago and still get crap from them in the mail
I recently got a huge packet from them that took up half of my mailbox. It was a bunch of forms they wanted me to fill out and send back to them (tax forms and other SPi stuff). I haven't even worked there since last February! They really are incompetent and have no idea who is still working there and who is not.

This totally depends on which supervisor you work for. If you work directly for the owner, the accounts are decent and she's very good to work for. One of her account supervisors has an account that is huge and disorganized. The dictated work is not bad, but the hoops to get through the demographics is very time consuming and confusing. The pay scale may sound good, but your pay per hour could be horrible when it's all said and done.

TransTech and low/no work for months and months _ don't think there are continous holidays LOL
This HORRIBLE low/no work situation has been going on at TT for almost a year now. You can't convince me it is due to Memorial Day. Are holidays now assigned in this world to being daily.
That is an excuse these companies use in these no work situations, but it is due to their OVERHIRING. Holidays just come on a daily basis, but LOW WORK/NO WORK is happening and has happened going on a year now at TransTech. Always asking to flex into the middle of the night, EVERY weekend, etc.
The TT mgmt checks are NEVER affected, tho, so they can continue to HIRE EVERY MT who gives them a call, and create a NO WORK situation for all of us. The newbie MT's are cheering at first, but then realize that it hit them in the paycheck, too, and very soon it did!!!!!!!

my take on the e-mail
e-mail (free) blanketing anyone who gets on an MT mailing list looking for unskilled (low pay) workers to churn out poor quality work for big profits. Sounds right out of a get rich book to me. Standard operating procedure for most companies in transcription biz.

I understand what you mean and I would hate to have so many accounts. Things have definitely gone from bad to worse at OSi recently when I thought they couldn't. There has to be a better way for both of us.

Of course, its in the mail...
Then they said it was lost, then they said I had the dates wrong on when they should pay, then it was if you don't get it by Friday, we will send it by UPS overnight, of course after the weekend had gone by and so on... At first, they bounced a check, by the time they made that good, the next check was due, and by the time they sent me another bogus check the third was due... and then I quit and the other one came due at that point... so here I am today with work done in July and they still have not paid me. They don't intend to either. For your sake, watch your back!
